Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.3 Releases on May 21

In the most recent special program for Honkoi: Star Rail, HoYoverse shared that update version 3.3 for their space-exploring role-playing game, titled “The Fall at Dawn’s Rise”, is scheduled to release on May 21st.

The peak of the story arrives as the Trailblazer unites with the Chrysos Heirs, gearing up for the ultimate showdown in the Flame-Chase Journey – the Sky Titan awaits them. To add to the thrill, two fresh characters make their entrance, and a series of unique, time-limited events provide an invigorating mix of excitement and challenges along the way.

Honkai Star Rail Version 3.3 – New Playable Characters

In Version 3.3, two fresh characters are set to make their appearance. The first is Hyacine, a Wind character who adheres to the Path of Remembrance. As the head physician at the Twilight Courtyard, Hyacine has been taking care of Flame-Chasers’ health for quite some time. In battle, she shines by healing her team’s HP and improving their overall resilience. By employing her powers and summoning Little Ica, she offers persistent healing to her allies.

As a gamer, in my game, when I unleash my Ultimate skill, it’s not just about reviving my teammates’ health bars, it boosts their maximum HP too! On top of that, whenever any of my allies take a hit or willingly sacrifice their health, my trusty companion, Little Ica, steps up to the plate. It swiftly gives its own health to instantly heal them. But that’s not all, Little Ica isn’t just a healer; it can also dish out some damage to enemies. The more healing it performs, the harder it hits!

In the narrative, the second figure is known as Cipher. Players have encountered her before with Aglaea and Tribbie in the storyline. She is a Quantum entity adhering to the Path of Nihility, and due to her inheritance of Trickery’s divine power, she excels at focusing on the opponent with the greatest Maximum Health (HP) on the battlefield. She places them under a unique status that keeps track of all damage they sustain. During combat, Cipher can swap the targeted enemy for tactical flexibility. This adaptability allows her to respond effectively to changing circumstances. When allies attack the designated enemy, Cipher follows up with an additional strike. Upon employing her ultimate ability, she inflicts extra True Damage proportional to the total damage recorded!

In the initial part of Update 3.3, Hyacine and a re-release banner for The Herta will be accessible. Later on, during the second half of the update, Cipher and a repeat banner for Agalea will make their appearance.

Honkai Star Rail‘s Trailblaze Story Reaches its Climax

In the last episode of Trailblaze Stories, the Chrysos Heirs successfully retrieved the Coreflames of ‘Death’ and ‘Reason.’ Now, they are preparing for the climactic conflict of Flame-Chase Journey, facing off against the Sky Titan, Aquila. As per ancient chronicles, this titan is a colossal bird with one hundred eyes, whose blinking sky acts as its eyelids, managing the rise and set of daylight.

In the meantime, Madam Herta’s data spirit entity managed to get to the Vortex of Genesis. As the experts continue their probe, the true cause of Amphoreus’s misfortune will be gradually revealed, and its destiny will become entwined with that of the galaxy. However, it’s up to the players to uncover the details as the story progresses in the forthcoming chapters.

Honkai Star Rail Debuts New Exciting Events

In Version 3.3, a host of fresh events are being introduced to offer unique gaming adventures. Registration is currently open for the Penacony Speed Cup Spheroid Racing Competition, where the best racers will face off in intense competitions! Pioneers will get behind the wheel of their Spheroid Racers and participate in heart-pounding speed races.

Additionally, we’re thrilled to announce the debut of The Galactic Baseballer: Demon King’s official launch! Building upon player input from our earlier version, this edition offers an array of captivating new elements designed to invigorate the combat experience with novel challenges on the battlefield.

On July 11th, 2025, Archer (Emiya Shirou) and Saber will hop aboard the Astral Express as part of the forthcoming collaboration for Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works. Keep an eye out for further collaborations with Honkai: Star Rail, as they’re set to roll out soon!
