In the game Wuthering Waves, echo farming is one of the hardest jobs you’ll encounter, particularly if you’re after a scarcely found main stat like Energy Regeneration. However, the introduction of the Modifier item in update 2.3 has made it easier by providing a degree of customization for echoes, reducing the randomness involved in farming echoes to some extent.

How To Use Modifiers
As a gamer, I can tweak the primary attribute of my five-star Echo character by utilizing a Modifier. To make this change, I navigate to the Data Bank menu and click on the icon positioned at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
You may apply Modifiers exclusively to unlevelled and unlocked Echoes that haven’t been upgraded using experience points, as doing so will result in an error notification.
Once you pick the Echo you wish to customize, find the button with a plus symbol and click it to adjust its primary attribute. The options for this change are contingent upon the cost of the selected Echo. Essentially, you can only assign tier-four stats, such as Critical Rate and Healing Percentage, to Echoes that cost the same tier.
Modifiers won’t let you avoid the cost associated with an Echo, and since you’re employing them at level zero, there’s a chance that you could end up with a dismal stat distribution for the Echo as a result.
Instead of using your Modifiers right away, consider saving them until you acquire a new character. Utilize these modifiers primarily for the less common primary stats such as Energy Regeneration. Keep in mind that you may need to repeat this process depending on your Echo Tuning progression.
Additionally, you can utilize Modifiers to amass an inventory of optimal primary stat Echoes for future character builds. Piling up four-cost Echoes with Crit Rate and Energy Restoration might be your best option, since Critical Damage is frequently found on five-star weapons.
