However, it’s not always the case that the game strictly adheres to the roles these characters are known for on their respective paths. For instance, Acheron is a Nihility character, but she specializes more in dealing damage rather than debuffing, which is unusual. This can be justified in certain situations, such as how Abundance characters often possess other useful abilities, preventing them from being mere clones of other Abundance units.

As a dedicated gamer in Honkai: Star Rail, I’m not just your typical Damage Per Second (DPS) character with Anaxa, but also a mini-buffer and debuffer. His debuffing skills are an absolute game-changer for teams packed with damage dealers. The optimal team setup for Anaxa includes multiple damage dealers, even those hailing from the supportive Paths.

3. Anaxa + The Herta + Tribbie + Lingsha

In the game Honkai: Star Rail, The Herta is among the most powerful Erudition characters. It makes perfect sense that she synergizes well with Anaxa, another Erudition unit. When two Erudition characters are in the team, Anaxa amplifies the entire group’s strength. Given that Anaxa consistently lands attacks and they are area of effect (AoE), he effectively charges The Herta’s A2 Trace ability and provides her an exceptional amount of Energy. This enables The Herta to employ her Ultimate more frequently, resulting in massive damage on the battlefield.

Besides boosting the DMG bonus, Anaxa dished out significant damage on his own. Additionally, he has the ability to instill Vulnerabilities in opponents, much like Silver Wolf does. This enables the team to shatter the enemy’s Durability meter, causing more damage as a result.

In the context of the character from HSR, the optimal choice appears to be Tribbie. This character is exceptional as a universal mediator, getting along with all others. Additionally, she possesses the ability to inflict continuous damage, which significantly boosts The Herta’s A2.

In the final position, let’s slot in Lingsha as our healer. Lingsha is a great choice because she can leverage several Area of Effect (AoE) attacks that complement The Herta’s A2. Moreover, Lingsha’s abilities are further boosted when Anaxa is present, as Anaxa creates an opportunity for her to unleash her Breaking power more effectively.
