Dr Pepper and Dippin’ Dots are teaming up to create a new frozen treat that tastes like Dr Pepper soda. The exciting collaboration was first revealed at the 2025 NACS Show, giving attendees a sneak peek and a taste of what’s to come.
This collaboration combines two well-known brands with signature tastes and textures. Dr Pepper, a classic American soda first created in 1885, is joining forces with Dippin’ Dots, the unique flash-frozen ice cream that’s been delighting customers since 1988.
Dr Pepper ice cream set to launch in early 2026
The popular food blog Snackolator shared photos on Instagram revealing that Dr Pepper Dippin’ Dots are planned for release in stores around early 2026. They say the flavor tastes very similar to classic Dr Pepper, like a Whataburger Dr Pepper Shake, but in the form of those tiny, frozen beads.
He raved about the Dr Pepper Dippin’ Dots in his post, calling them the best he’s ever tasted.

This new flavor is one of several recent partnerships announced at NACS, like Pabst Blue Ribbon’s pickle-flavored beer made with Grillo’s Pickles. These combinations show a trend of big food and drink companies experimenting with surprising and retro flavors.
Unique and unusual ice cream flavors have been incredibly popular in 2025. This year alone, people have created flavors like breast milk and even sunscreen!
