Adventurers can discover numerous seemingly ordinary but crucial objects scattered across their journey in the game “AI Limit“. The Arboretum key, a drop encountered quite early in the game, is among these essential items.

Even though the Arboretum Key is utilized later in the game rather unexpectedly, if you aren’t meticulous in your exploration, you might overlook it entirely. For newcomers of AI Limit, here’s a helpful guide on where to employ this key effectively.

How to Use the Arboretum Key in AI Limit

After overcoming Lore, the initial major adversary who safeguards Sewer Town’s exit, players will immediately acquire the Arboretum Key. Later on, should you decide to use this key, it’ll be necessary to advance through the Spirit Depths map – approximately seven boss battles away. Remember to progress at your own pace and gather the finest early equipment in the game, AI Limit, as you journey along.

The Way to the Arboretum

After arriving at the Spirit Depths, proceed next to the Watch Tower Branch. On this branch, locate a hard-light platform guarded by an enemy that roams around. Be cautious as the platform features eyes that spin, if you’re not careful, they may trigger a bolt of lightning strike.

At the conclusion of your journey along the platform, make a left turn and continue following the edge until you spot additional hard-light platforms beneath you. Proceed with caution, descending each one as you encounter them. Once down, move forward. Keep an eye out for a door that opens onto some stairs and some Necros on the side of the level to your left.

The Invisible Bridge

Climb the staircase, deciding whether to confront or flee from the Necros. Eventually, you’ll come across a Cleansing Knight and a Panic Reaper engaged in combat. Disregard them (or deal the final blow to the victor), then make your way out through the wall opening onto another platform. Below you will be additional hovering platforms.

You have the option to exit the elevator prematurely to locate a control panel, which will deactivate all surveillance devices in the vicinity.

To the Arboretum

1st: After reaching the Inactive Array, take the return trip on the elevator you’ve recently unsealed. Engage the Clergy swordswoman once more, then hop back in the elevator again.

2nd: Leave the elevator ascending, but step off when it reaches your floor. You’ll notice additional holographic platforms beneath you; follow them as they lead down the elevator well.

3rd: Exit the elevator when it goes up, and then leap from the final platform onto the doorway below when you reach the bottom. Keep following the hard-light platforms as they guide you through the shaft.

Afterward, walk along the corridor until you get to its end. Take a right turn, and you’ll discover a tiny passageway that takes you to the Withered Forest. From here on out, it’s just a straightforward stroll leading towards the Arboretum. Use the key to open the door, and you’ll encounter the Arboretum Branch and some Soil suitable for Delpha.
