Battlefield 6 Reverts Significant Conquest Change After Less Than 48 Hours

Battlefield Studios is quickly changing back a recent update to Battlefield 6. After receiving feedback from players, the studio announced it will restore the number of tickets for Conquest maps to the original value of 1000. They had previously lowered the ticket count less than two days ago, but are now reverting that change for all maps.

Conquest matches now start with 1,000 tickets per team and last for 45 minutes. The developers had lowered the starting ticket count to between 700 and 900 to make matches faster, but they’re now increasing it again. Battlefield Studios warns that this change could lead to longer matches, especially on big maps like Mirak Valley and Firestorm.

We’re still keeping a close eye on what players are saying and how everyone’s playing the game. We want to make sure matches feel good – that the speed and rhythm are just right. It’s all about making sure the gameplay flows smoothly, and we’re using your feedback to help us get there.

Battlefield Studios recently announced several big updates, including fixes for ways players were unfairly gaining experience points and improvements to how players advance in the game.

I’m so hyped! Battlefield 6’s first season kicks off on October 28th, and everyone’s saying that’s also when we’ll finally get the battle royale mode. Fingers crossed it’s true!

Battlefield 6 had a record-breaking launch, selling over 7 million copies right away. While it’s off to a strong start, TopMob gave the game a 7 out of 10 in their review.
