In the game “Dream Patrol: Eye for an Eye” within “Wuthering Waves”, your goal is to break Roseshroom’s charging phase by employing attacks that target a range of distances.

In my experience as a fan, I’ve found the game a bit ambiguous regarding “ranged attacks”. You may have encountered this if you’ve attempted to use basic attacks with pistol-wielding Resonators, only to find it doesn’t seem to work. So, I’m left wondering, just what kind of attacks is the game asking for exactly?

Alright, let’s guide you through using ranged attacks to halt the Roseshroom’s charging phase and disrupt its activities in Wuthering Waves. Simply put, aim your attacks at it from a distance when it’s charging up.

Use Ranged Attacks to Interrupt the Roseshroom’s Charging State | Dream Patrol: Eye for an Eye

First, navigate to the “Dream Patrol: Eye for an Eye” location on Fagaceae Peninsula, which is known as Rinascita. This spot is northwest of Oakheart Highcourt, making it easily identifiable. While not strictly necessary, having a Resonator equipped with a pistol, such as Mortefi or Carlotta, could prove useful.

Immediately upon starting the challenge, it’s best to eliminate the tiny Rose mushrooms. Doing so promptly will help you concentrate more effectively on preventing the Rose mushroom’s assaults.

Once the Roseshroom indicates it’s charging by standing upright and pointing towards you, while a red laser is emitted, prepare to switch to manual aiming mode. You can activate this with any Resonator that holds a pistol or your Hoverdroid: Shooter accessory.

Target directly at the glowing center on the Roseshroom’s head and fire. This will immediately halt its charge, causing it to fall over. With even a level 1 Resonator, hitting your mark is all you need! The objective will be automatically marked as accomplished too.

In the game Wuthering Waves, you can halt the Roseshroom’s charging state by employing ranged attacks. While it may seem straightforward, it’s worth noting that the in-game instructions didn’t explicitly mention that manual aiming is required for successful interruption…

Discussing the objectives of Dream Patrol that are somewhat vague, let me also mention that we have a guide titled “Dream Patrol: Knight in a Storm.” This guide instructs you to counteract the Knight’s weapon enhancement, which unfortunately shares the same level of ambiguity as the one we previously addressed in this guide!
