As a seasoned Gacha Life player with over a decade of experience under my belt, I must say that the second half of the Sablewood Sanctuary expedition is no walk in the park. The enemies are relentless, the mechanics are tricky, and the stakes are high.

In this text, I’ve rephrased it as follows:

Grit Mechanics in Pure Fiction 2.7

In simpler terms, Grit Mechanics refers to a boost or enhancement you gain in battle. By building up your Grit Value over time, when it’s fully charged, you enter the Empowered Grit state which provides strong battle bonuses, enhancing your effectiveness in combat.

1) Earn Grit Points by vanquishing enemies; you get 5 points per defeated adversary.

Surging Grit (Current Season’s Buff)

When you step into Surging Grit, your allies’ actions are instantly sped up by 100%, and the damage enemies receive during this timeframe is amplified by 50%. To make things even more intense, after an ally uses their Skill to attack an enemy target, they will also inflict extra damage on all nearby enemy targets.

During the Surging Grit period, which lasts for a specific duration (check the Action Order on the left), your Grit accumulates value. When you leave the Surging Grit phase, a portion of the Grit Value is refunded based on the number of enemies you’ve defeated during that phase. However, the maximum amount returned is 30, so defeating just 6 enemies within this period will earn you the full refund.

First Half – Wave 1

During the initial phase, you’ll encounter regular enemies with no elite opponents present. However, take note that should any of these common enemies fall in battle, new ones will continue to appear.

Is it clear that you’re looking at the extensive health bar at the top? That large health bar represents the ‘boss’ health in this round, and your goal is to eliminate the regular enemies within this round, thereby lowering the ‘boss’ health. Once the ‘boss’ has been vanquished, you will progress to the next stage.

Focus particularly on Mr. Domescreen among your adversaries. Ensure it’s tuned to the Surprise Channel (Happiness Channel), as this will rejuvenate energy for a randomly chosen ally when its turn comes. You can alter its channel by engaging in an attack against it.

If you happen not to know, the Lordly Trashcan doesn’t possess any inherent vulnerabilities. However, by launching attacks against it, you can introduce a weakness. Importantly, only the first two attacks will induce this weakness into the trashcan. Concerning this adversary, overcoming it isn’t necessary; instead, causing a ‘Weakness Break’ is sufficient to consider it as ‘defeated’.

First Half – Wave 2

During the second wave, the groups may not be as powerful as they typically are, but it’s still wise to familiarize yourself with their characteristics.

For the Automaton Beetle, during its turn, it sets up a defense and launches an assault against you. This defense, though fragile, can withstand one powerful blow, such as the attack from Lightning Lord or Acheron’s ultimate move. However, keep in mind that this barrier only lasts for one strike before collapsing; ensure you destroy it prior to activating any ultimate abilities.

As a fan, I’ve found an interesting twist in the “Heartbreaker” meme: when his weakness isn’t broken, the damage he takes is reduced! To effectively handle this character, it’s crucial to break his weakness, which can be done with elements such as Ice, Lightning, or Fire.

First Half – Wave 3

Last time out, I encountered The Ascended as the boss, and let me tell you, knowing its mechanics ahead of time can save you from being caught off-guard in the heat of battle.

For some, the foe resembling the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus may ring a bell, however, rest assured that this particular enemy doesn’t have the power to revive itself or heal when defeated. Unlike others, when its health drops to zero, it will expire naturally. As for the Wraith Warden, beware as it possesses the skill to cause Reverberation on a target. If your character has been affected by this condition and is subsequently attacked, they will momentarily become stunned, rendering them incapable of retaliating.

For the boss, she has the ability to weaken your character by draining their vitality, which is equivalent to lowering your character’s maximum health points. If you have a shield character, this might not cause significant issues. However, if you bring a healer, unless your healer can remove the debuff, you won’t be able to restore your character’s health to its full capacity.

Second Half – Wave 1

Initially, you’ll encounter just common enemies without any elite foes. Important to note that when a mob is defeated, others will continually reappear. As before, concentrate on exploiting their weaknesses and eliminating them in this phase.

Second Half – Wave 2

During the second phase, these adversaries exclusively dish out damage to individual targets. This means, if you’re including a shield character in your team, they should ideally not be repeatedly targeted by the enemies until their shield is breached.

In this scenario, when the IPC Grunt horde assaults your character, they’ll earn 1 Performance Point. However, it’s quite amusing that those points are useless in this case because only the Senior Staff: Team Leader (our boss) can utilize them, and unfortunately, they’re not present. So feel free to handle these Grunts as you would any ordinary mob, disregarding the accumulated Performance Points.

Second Half – Wave 3

In the recent encounter, the mix of the boss and its minions presents quite a threat, unless you’ve got a healer who can remove debuffs in your team.

Initially, it’s important to note that the boss has the ability to impose an effect called Reverberation on a target. If your character experiences this Reverberation and then gets attacked, they will become temporarily incapacitated, or in simpler terms, they will be unable to respond or act.

Using Dragonfish’s Area of Effect (AoE) assault and Wolftroop’s Blast attack, there’s a good likelihood your character will become stunned, should they be affected by the Reverberation debuff. The only way to eliminate this is with a healer who possesses the ability to purify it.

First Half – Wave 1

Initially, you’ll encounter just common enemies without any elite foes. However, take note that should any of these common enemies perish, more will continue to appear on the scene.

Can you spot the big Health Points (HP) bar at the top? That’s the ‘boss’ health in this round, and to decrease it, you should take out the regular enemies in this round first. Once the ‘boss’ is defeated, you’ll advance to the next round.

If you haven’t already known, the Lordly Trashcan doesn’t possess any inherent vulnerabilities. However, by making two strategic attacks, you can introduce a weakness into it. Importantly, for this adversary, you don’t need to fully defeat it; instead, once the Weakness Break is triggered, it will be considered as ‘defeated’.

First Half – Wave 2

In this scenario, the second wave’s leader is referred to as ‘Past Confined and Caged’. Defeating the other two groups will cause them to respawn. The boss isn’t particularly challenging if you have a unit that can sustain. To accumulate Grit Value, your main objective should be concentrating on defeating the adversaries.

As a precaution, familiarize yourself with the workings of these Sableclaw Wolftroopers. During the initial conflict, they’ll have a “Bloodlust” stack next to their HP. If your character attacks them, this stack will grow. When the Bloodlust stack reaches a specific level, all wolves on the battlefield will transition into a “Moon Rage” state.

When wolves enter the “Moon Rage” phase, their Speed significantly boosts, and they often cause Bleed damage to your characters during attacks. To eliminate this condition, simply use a “Weakness Break” ability on them. Truth be told, if you just Weakness Break them, most of your problems will be resolved.

First Half – Wave 3

In this third phase, it’s clear that Gepard takes the lead as our commander. He has the ability to erect a protective barrier for the team members, excluding himself. Additionally, he dishes out reasonable damage on his own.

In the fictional world of this story, the shield that he crafts isn’t as robust as those from the Apocalyptic Shadow, which require repeated attacks to shatter. Instead, the shields here are significantly weaker and can be destroyed with a single blow. It would be advantageous to have an Area of Effect (AoE) unit ready, so they can break these shields simultaneously on all opponents.

A gentle heads-up: This little foe possesses an ability to revive its allies by restoring their health. For optimal results, try to vanquish this creature prior to its movement, thereby preventing it from healing the adversaries.

Second Half – Wave 1

Initially, you’ll encounter ordinary foes without any high-level adversaries. Notably, when a mob is slain, new ones will continuously resurface. As before, prioritize weakening and vanquishing the enemies during this phase.

Unlike some might recall from the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus, fret not, for this particular foe doesn’t possess the ability to self-resurrect or heal back up to half its health when defeated. Instead, once its health depletes to zero, it will expire conventionally.

Second Half – Wave 2

The second wave is pretty annoying because of the Performance Point mechanic. But once you understand it and have the best element to deal with them, this wave will be a walk in the park.

In this scenario, every mob that attacks your squad will earn a single Performance Point. If the boss accumulates these points, it can unleash a powerful attack on your entire team. However, you have an option to seize these points beforehand by using Weakness Breaking against the mobs or by defeating them. Seizing the Performance Points won’t yield any benefits for you directly, but doing so will prevent the boss from inflicting heavy damage on your team.

In my experience, what really shines in this challenge is that each foe within this wave exhibits vulnerabilities to both Ice and Fire elements. It’s quite fortunate that we all receive Herta for free in this round, making her an absolute game-changer! Pairing her with Jade or Himeko significantly boosts her performance, particularly during this wave. The Weakness Breaking ability comes in handy, allowing us to neutralize the enemies and prevent the boss from inflicting massive damage.

Second Half – Wave 3

To wrap things up, we have the Prolific Iron-colored Stag. This one presents more challenges compared to the earlier waves due to the unique vulnerabilities of the branches.

As a devoted fan, I find myself drawn to targeting the Twig of Glorious Blooms, given its unique ability to restore the entire enemy team’s health. In case there are two of these blooming twigs in the arena, it means twice the healing for the deer, a scenario we surely wish to avoid.

As a gamer, here’s how I’d put it:
