As a seasoned gamer with years of Honkai universe adventures under my belt, I must admit that the upcoming Version 3.0 of Honkai: Star Rail has me intrigued like never before! The mystery surrounding Amphoreus, the fourth planet, is tantalizingly alluring, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.
In the game “Honkai: Star Rail”, you’ll find an assorted group of characters who traverse the cosmos, settling on distinct planets. A notable instance is the Penacony arc, which saw visitors from diverse realms gathering to celebrate the Charmony Festival and explore the dreamlike terrain personally. However, with a forthcoming update for “Honkai: Star Rail”, this character dynamic could potentially evolve.
In the upcoming Version 3.0 of Honkai: Star Rail, we’ll be introduced to a new planet called Amphoreus, a world shrouded in mystery and largely uncharted by everyone. The Trailblazer and their Astral Express companions might become the first explorers to set foot on this planet after millennia, with it still uncertain if other groups such as the Stellaron Hunters will make an appearance. Consequently, the narrative of Honkai: Star Rail could potentially revolve around characters native to Amphoreus for the next few months.
Amphoreus May Not Easily Open Up to Honkai: Star Rail Characters From Other Worlds
As per ancient tales, for more than a thousand years, mortals and deities engaged in relentless conflict within Amphoreus. A prediction foretells that a select band of individuals known as the Chrysos Heirs will seize the gods’ vital energies (or pursue the “Flame-Chase”) and safeguard the universe. Honkai: Star Rail has so far unveiled eight out of 12 members of this group, with all of them anticipated to be playable starting from Version 3.0, including the upcoming five-star banner character Aglaea.
Besides the Astral Express Crew, only two individuals – Black Swan and Sunday – are expected to set foot on Amphoreus since they’re traveling by train. Given the secluded nature of this planet, it could prove challenging for characters from other realms to gain access to Amphoreus. Therefore, the key figures in the upcoming storyline may well be native residents of Amphoreus.
There’s talk that The Herta, or Herta in her true form, could make an appearance in Amphoreus since she’s a prominent character with a 5-star status in Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0. Nonetheless, it hasn’t been officially confirmed by the game how she fits into the forthcoming narrative.
In Honkai: Star Rail, it’s common for them to focus on characters hailing from a particular location. The Xianzhou Wardance arc serves as a prime example, as it predominantly showcased characters belonging to the Xianzhou Alliance, like Feixiao and Yunli. It’s worth noting that the game has hinted at several characters from Amphoreus, even though their star levels remain undisclosed. However, they are expected to be plentiful enough to fully flesh out the Amphoreus narrative.
Known Chrysos Heirs
- Aglaea (5-star Lightning, Remembrance)
- Tribbie
- Anaxagoras
- Hyacine
- Mydeimos
- Cifera
- Castorice
- Phainon
For Honkai: Star Rail, the task is ensuring each character design stands out distinctly, reflecting the planet’s Ancient Greek influences. Previously, some players found issue with the diversity in Honkai: Star Rail character designs, particularly those from Xianzhou territories. However, previews of Amphoreus’ characters suggest potential improvement, as they appear to be inspired by gods and heroes from Greek mythology, which may contribute to their backgrounds and abilities.
The idea that Amphoreus might be an uncharted planet is quite intriguing as it offers HoYoverse an opportunity to astonish us with distinctive characters and settings. Many enthusiasts speculate that Honkai: Star Rail may introduce additional variants of characters from Honkai Impact 3rd during this storyline due to the Chrysos Heirs’ link to Flame-Chasers. In Honkai Impact 3rd, Flame-Chasers are a squad of super soldiers engineered with the genes of potent Honkai Beasts. The possibilities for Honkai: Star Rail’s upcoming chapter are immense, and if its past significant updates serve as any guide to what Amphoreus could entail and the richness of character narratives, then fans might be in store for an entertaining and possibly moving experience.
