Honkai: Star Rail – Version 3.0 Introduces Path of the Remembrance, New Relic Crafting Material

As a dedicated Honkai: Star Rail player with countless hours spent navigating the cosmos, I eagerly anticipate the upcoming updates, especially Version 3.0. The prospect of exploring Amphoreus, the Eternal Land, and encountering new characters along the Path of the Remembrance has me buzzing with excitement.

The upcoming update for Honkai: Star Rail is due next week, but as 2024 approaches its end, what can we anticipate from the free-to-play RPG in the coming new year? It’s no surprise that a fresh world – Amphoreus, the Eternal Land – will be introduced. In the Special Program for Version 2.7 (releasing on December 4th), miHoYo shared insights about Version 3.0, which brings the Path of the Remembrance into play. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come.

Its main mechanic resolves around Memosprites, summons with different abilities (which characters like Sunday can boost). You meet various characters in Amphoreus who follow the Path of the Remembrance, with the lore video below hinting at the debut of Honkai: Star Rail’s version of the Flame-Chasers.

Among other notable enhancements, you’ll find improvements to the Relic System, allowing players to work with a novel substance named Wishful Resin. This new feature, Self-Modeling Resin, empowers users to determine both the primary and secondary stats of a Relic, significantly reducing the hassle associated with aiming for specific rolls. Additionally, during the period spanning Version 2.7 up until Version 3.2 concludes, players can avail themselves of “Gift of the Express,” which offers them the opportunity to select a 5-star character from the Standard Banner as their own.

Version 3.0 has yet to be given a specific launch date, however, it’s anticipated to follow Version 2.7, potentially in the early part of 2025. Keep an eye out for further updates!
