Zero Gravity Labs Raises $40M for Decentralized AI Operating System

As a seasoned analyst with over two decades of experience in the tech and crypto industries, I must say that the recent $40 million seed funding round for Zero Gravity Labs (0GL) to develop a decentralized AI operating system is an intriguing development.

Zero Gravity Labs (0GL) announced they’ve secured $40 million in initial financing from prominent cryptocurrency investors, aiming to construct a distributed artificial intelligence system called dAIOS. This move follows an earlier pre-seed round of $35 million that took place in March.

In simpler terms, dAIOS has been created as a decentralized platform where large data sets can reside, serving as the backbone for advanced artificial intelligence calculations.

According to an email announcement, the seed funding round saw participation from Hack VC, Delphi Digital, OKX Ventures, Polygon, and its creator Sandeep Nailwal, as well as Animoca Brands and its founder Yat Siu, among other investors.

0GL announced they’ve obtained a pledge for a “$250 million token acquisition,” which serves as a backup line of credit, enabling them to tap into readily available digital assets stored in exchanges, boosting their ability to fund ongoing project advancements.
