As a lifelong music enthusiast with a penchant for both contemporary and classic tunes, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the upcoming season of “The Voice”! With legends like Sting and Jennifer Hudson joining the coaching ranks, it promises to be a season that will go down in history.
Both Sting and Jennifer Hudson are set to appear on “The Voice” Season 26 as mega mentors.
As a movie critic penning down my thoughts, I find myself intrigued by the unprecedented dual powerhouses gracing “The Voice” this season. I’m talking about none other than Sting and Kelly Clarkson joining forces with Snoop Dogg and Gwen Stefani, while Michael Bublé and Reba McEntire are teamed up as well. Interestingly, this is a comeback for Kelly, who previously coached on Seasons 13 and 15 of this NBC competition show.
The news arrives as the squads gear up for the Triple Knockout matches starting from November 11th. In this round, each artist will be matched with two other team members, yet they are given the freedom to choose their own songs for an individual performance, while their immediate rivals observe and anticipate.
Jennifer Hudson is a prestigious EGOT award recipient and one of the most acclaimed singers currently active. Not too long ago, she unveiled her holiday album entitled “The Gift of Love” on October 18th. Moreover, she kicked off the third season of her widely popular daytime talk show, “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” in September.
Sting, renowned musician, has surpassed sales of 100 million albums from his collective efforts with The Police band and as a standalone artist. He boasts an impressive collection of awards, including 17 Grammys, two Brit Awards, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, four Oscar nominations, a Tony Award nomination, the Century Award from Billboard magazine, and was named MusiCares Person of the Year in 2004.
