Jake Paul has jokingly threatened to sue people who are creating popular, AI-generated videos featuring him. He’s responding to the many viral videos that use his likeness.
So, OpenAI finally let us play with Sora – their new AI video generator – at the end of September, along with Sora 2. It’s still invite-only right now, kind of like TikTok, but seriously, tons of videos made with it are already blowing up everywhere. It’s pretty wild to see what people are creating!
Lately, people have been digitally inserting themselves and well-known figures into WWE content, popular TV shows, and video games. Jake Paul has also frequently been featured in images and videos created by users of the Sora AI platform.
People have been creating fake videos using AI showing the boxer-turned-YouTuber doing things like makeup tutorials, having fights in a hospital, and expressing frustration with his boxing matches.
Jake Paul mocks viral AI videos of himself
On October 8th, the individual known as ‘Problem Child’ responded to AI-generated videos of himself by publicly making fun of them.
Honestly, I’m so frustrated with all this AI stuff going on. It’s really starting to mess with my life, both with my friends and my work. I keep getting messages from people asking if I said certain things or did something, and it’s just… a lot. I was even dealing with it while I was trying to do my makeup the other day, just getting bombarded with questions on Instagram!
This situation is incredibly frustrating, and the spread of false information about me is unacceptable. I’m prepared to take legal action against anyone continuing to spread these lies, so consider this a warning.

Many people found Jake’s post amusing. One viewer commented, “He doesn’t even know what makeup he’s applying!” Another simply wrote, “I’m laughing so hard!”
As a big fan of YouTube, I’m starting to get a little worried about these AI clips. It’s getting to the point where they look *really* real, and even creators like MrBeast are saying it’s a scary time for all of us who make videos. Casey Neistat even said things are basically over – it’s a pretty serious situation!
