Nina Lin, a popular Twitch streamer, has been permanently banned from the platform following her recent arrest while celebrating the New York Knicks’ championship win in Manhattan.
People visiting Lin’s Twitch channel now see a message saying the account is temporarily blocked because it broke Twitch’s rules. This means Lin has been banned from the platform for an unspecified amount of time.
Lin was banned from the area soon after being arrested on June 13th. The arrest happened near Madison Square Garden when video surfaced showing her climbing onto an Amazon delivery vehicle as fans celebrated the New York Knicks winning their first NBA championship in over five decades.

When I heard about Lin’s arrest, everyone was wondering if she’d actually be charged with anything. It really made me think back to all the drama surrounding her – there have been quite a few controversies over the years, both on her streams and in her personal life. This just brought it all back up again.

Lin has faced multiple suspensions from Twitch over the past year.
In October 2025, she and another streamer, Zoe Spencer, were banned from the platform after old video clips surfaced. These clips showed them acting in ways viewers considered inappropriate and without the consent of FaZe Silky’s assistant, Said.

A few weeks later, she was banned once more after a live video from a Target store became popular online. During the video, people watching accused her of stealing because the footage seemed to show her scanning cheaper items but putting more expensive ones into bags.
Lin publicly refuted reports of a permanent ban, dismissing rumors with a strong statement to her fans that the claims were false and assuring them she planned to come back to the platform.
Things have changed. When a Twitch channel is permanently banned, the message shown is different from a temporary suspension. Currently, Lin’s channel says it’s indefinitely unavailable because it broke Twitch’s rules.
