Jeremy Clarkson recently announced he’s been diagnosed with prostate cancer, sharing the news while filming the last episodes of his show, Clarkson’s Farm, for Season 5.
In the last two episodes of Clarkson’s Farm released on June 17th, Jeremy Clarkson, age 66 and formerly the host of Top Gear, shared with his co-stars Charlie Ireland and Kaleb Cooper that he has cancer.
He dismissed questions about the location of his cancer, stating, “It doesn’t matter where it is, and I’ve been aware of it since May.”
He shared with his co-stars that he’d been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer, but thankfully it was caught early. He’d been hoping to finish the harvest before starting treatment, but now it looks like treatment will have to begin right in the middle of it.
He later revealed he had prostate cancer and had a procedure to remove the affected part. He explained that the cancerous tissue made up about 10% of his prostate.
He explained that if he hadn’t gotten a check-up, and the issue hadn’t been found quickly, this year could have been his last harvest. Thankfully, because it was caught early, he’s optimistic about continuing to farm for many years to come.

Jeremy Clarkson doesn’t know “what’s going to happen” after cancer diagnosis
At the end of Season 5, he was shown recovering in a hospital bed. He explained that some medical treatments hadn’t gone as planned and he would need to stay for a while, adding that he wasn’t sure what the future held.
So, basically, if everything goes well with this stream, I’m planning on being back for Season 6! But if not… well, that might be it. Thanks for all the support, you guys!
Before the new episodes were released, he shared a message on Instagram. He didn’t discuss his diagnosis or give any details about it, but he warned viewers that the episodes were “very tough to watch, truly difficult.”
