Model kits are central to the franchise’s success, but the brand also offers a wide range of figures. A recent line of highly detailed collectibles has become incredibly popular and is selling out rapidly.
The new Gundam Artifact Pro series is an upgraded version of the Gundam Artifact line released in 2021, giving classic robot designs a more detailed and high-quality makeover. These new models are significantly taller, highlighting even more of the intricate details. Demand from fans has been so high that Bandai has opened up a second round of pre-orders for the kits.
Bandai Re-Opens Pre-Orders for Newest Gundam Line After Immediately Selling Out

On May 19, 2026, Bandai announced a new line of toys called Gundam Artifact Pro and began taking pre-orders. The toys sold out quickly, so Bandai opened up a second round of pre-orders to meet the high demand. Currently, the line includes two model kits, both featuring military versions of popular Gundam designs.
I’m so excited about the new Gundam Artifact PRO releases! They’ve got the Full Armor Gundam, which they’ve given this awesome green, almost camouflage-style armor and loaded with extra weaponry. And then there’s the High Mobility Type Zaku II (Black Tri-Stars Custom) – it’s just fantastic! Both are incredible additions to the line.
This model is a version of the Zaku II, but instead of the usual green, it’s black, white, and light purple. It includes a machine gun, Heat Hawk, and bazooka. In comparison, the Full Armor Gundam comes with a Beam Rifle, shield, Beam Saber, and blasters that can be attached to its arm and back.
These new kits are significantly larger than the original Gundam Artifact kits released in 2021, and their size and shape are more similar to classic Gundam model kits.
These figures are designed to be posed in action, unlike older, simpler toys which couldn’t move. They still connect using interlocking parts, but you still need glue to fully assemble them. And like before, they need to be painted to look like the images on the packaging.
The Full Armor Gundam will be available for around $45, while the Zaku II will cost about $40. Both model kits are now available for pre-order on the Premium Bandai website and are scheduled to ship in November 2026, with broader retail availability to follow. If you order both online, you’ll also receive a special clear armor set for the Full Armor Gundam.
In addition to Gundam Artifact Pro, Bandai also introduced a new line of toys that lets you build and customize figures using interchangeable parts.
