Reports that Tom Hardy is leaving the movie MobLand are untrue. A source close to the production says he wasn’t fired and that they’re simply resolving some creative differences.

I just started watching this show called MobLand on Paramount+, and it’s seriously good. It’s a crime drama set in London, all about different families battling it out for control. And get this – Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Paddy Considine are all in it! The cast is amazing.

Tom Hardy stars as Harry Da Souza, a key figure who acts as a problem-solver and tough guy for the powerful Harrigan family.

Rumors circulated last week claiming Tom Hardy had been fired from the show after disagreements with producers Jez Butterworth and David Glasser during filming for Season 2. However, a new report indicates this isn’t true, and he could potentially return for Season 3.

Variety reports that problems on the set of MobLand started with Tom Hardy frequently being late and wanting to change parts of the script. Leaked information last week made the situation even worse.

According to someone involved with the show, Tom hasn’t been fired and there’s still a possibility he’ll be in a third season. They’re currently figuring out the creative direction of the show.

I heard that Mr. Hardy really disliked it when the scripts didn’t arrive on time. It apparently left him feeling rushed and with barely any chance to get ready for his scenes, which must have been incredibly frustrating!

The actor enjoys a good working relationship with director Guy Ritchie, having first collaborated with him on the 2008 film Rocknrolla. However, issues arose when other directors took the helm, and the actor reportedly asked for some lines in the script to be altered.

Despite reports of disagreements between Hardy and Mirren, those claims seem to be false. Mirren hasn’t addressed the rumors directly, but she did share a photo of Hardy on Instagram with a loving message, writing, “Love you now and always, Helen.”

The article states that Hardy is required for additional filming for Season 2, and it doesn’t seem likely they’ll replace him in Season 3. Everyone involved is currently working to resolve the situation.
