Be warned, there are slight spoilers for season 2 of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder ahead. Emma Myers is quickly becoming a star of teen shows on Netflix, with roles in both Wednesday and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. Many viewers are curious about her age, especially in relation to the characters she plays. She’s back as Pippa, nicknamed ‘Pip’ Fitz-Amobi, the teenage detective in season 2 of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.
At the end of season one of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Pip successfully brought justice to Andie Bell and Salil Singh. Now, she’s facing a new case: Jamie Reynolds, the brother of her friend Connor, disappears just as he’s about to testify against Max Hastings, the criminal from the first season who is currently on trial.
Throughout both books of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, Pip acts very grown-up because she’s so focused on solving complex mysteries. These investigations take her to dangerous and unsettling places, and it’s easy to overlook the fact that she’s still a teenager who shouldn’t be dealing with such dark crimes.
Pip Is 18 Years Old In A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Season 2
In the first season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, the main character, Pip, is a 17-year-old student completing a challenging school project designed to help her prepare for university. The Netflix series also shows her preparing for college in other ways, such as practicing for a Cambridge University interview. While Pip seems mature when investigating a murder, her age is more apparent in the show’s many scenes set at high school.
Now eighteen years old, Pip is officially an adult in the second season. She’s in her final years of school – similar to a senior in high school in the US – and her parents are attempting to give her more independence. A year older than before, Pip is more self-assured, especially when interacting with people in positions of power. Despite being capable, she struggles with the emotional weight of both Jamie’s disappearance and the fallout from Max’s trial, finding it difficult to cope with such serious issues at her age.
Emma Myers Was 23 When A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder Season 2 Was Filmed
Jenna Myers was a natural fit to play Pip in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder because she’s a young adult herself. While not exactly the same age as her character, Myers was only a few years older during filming. At 21 during season one and 23 during season two (filmed in spring 2025, according to the Somerset County Gazette), she was four to five years older than Pip.

Because the actresses who play Myers and Pip are close in age, it would be simple to bring back the original actor for a potential third season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, should Netflix decide to make it. There’s still one more book in the series, giving the show the option to continue Pip’s story. As Pip ages within the show, the actress would naturally need to appear a bit older, and the original actor wouldn’t be too far removed from that age, making a return possible. Hopefully, we’ll get to see more of her in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.
