Check the changes in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter Japanese voice actor list

Nihon Falcom has been updating the official website for Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, particularly the character pages. Fans have noticed a significant change: while the English website only reveals the English voice actors, the Japanese website shows a completely new Japanese voice cast.

When Falcom first released Trails in the Sky, they announced changes to the Japanese voice actors for many of the key characters. Toshihiro Kondo later explained in an interview that he had specifically chosen a younger voice cast for the updated version of the game.

Continuing a pattern from previous games, 2nd Chapter features new Japanese voice actors for many of the recently added supporting characters. Some characters have even had their voices changed since earlier in the series. Currently, only Takahiro Yoshimizu (Walter “The Lanky Wolf”) and Kanae Ito (Campanella “The Fool”) are returning to voice their respective characters.

Here’s a list of the new characters appearing in Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, along with the actors who voice them in Japanese. The game will launch worldwide on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) on September 17th.
