All Train Wreck Locations in Far Far West

Far Far West is full of secrets and quests, including some hidden among the cacti! To explore everything the map has to offer, you’ll need to do some exploring, and it might take a while if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

Certain details are easier to overlook than others. If you’re not careful or get too caught up in what you’re doing, you might miss them. Luckily, it’s a game, so you can explore and simplify things if you need to.

To achieve this goal, it’s best to stick together, as you might have to finish the quest on your own. Knowing the area will be a big help, and you’ll be searching for abandoned trains to complete the available quests.

Where to Find Train Wrecks

It’s a bit easier to locate the train wrecks because the game provides descriptions for each map. The three maps containing the wrecks you need will all display purple text indicating a train wreck is present.

Once you’ve located the first one, it should be easy to determine your next destination. You’ll find yourself heading to one of three places: Far West, Canyon, or Area 41.

If you don’t have one of them unlocked, you’ll need to complete another questline to unlock it.

Far West Train Wreck

You’ll likely discover this location early in your journey across the Wild West. Look for smoke rising from the rocks in the northeastern part of the map.

If you follow the smoke, you’ll reach your next goal and be able to start the first of the train wreck quests. It’s a simple quest, so you should complete it as part of your current mission.

You’ll only be able to complete one of these quests per map you visit.

Canyon Train Wreck

Canyon is a challenging map, so it’s best to get a little experience before you try it. You can also team up with friends to make it easier!

The train wreck is located on the southeastern edge of the map. It might be tricky to spot the smoke, especially if it’s nighttime, so keep a close eye out for it.

Okay, so for this quest, I need to approach it like I did the last one. It’s probably a good idea to set up some defenses – maybe a turret – or have a friend watch my back while I complete it. It just feels like I’ll be vulnerable while I’m working on it!

Area 41 Train Wreck

You can open Area 41 by finishing a series of quests from Dr. Spark-Twist, but you have to complete them individually. After unlocking Area 41, you’ll be able to start the Train Wreck quest.

You’ll find this item in the eastern part of the map, nestled among a group of large lakes. Look for it right in the middle of those lakes.
