Still reeling from her traumatic pregnancy and childbirth – she gave birth to the monster Smiley in the season 3 finale – Fatima is understandably disturbed as season 4 unfolds.

Fatima’s partner, Ellis Stevens (Corteon Moore), has been supportive after her difficult experience, but she needs to deal with some things on her own. In season 4, episode 3 of From, this leads to a surprising turn: Fatima secretly asks Elgin Williams (Nathan D. Simmons) to help her collect a significant amount of soil. This is especially notable because Elgin betrayed Fatima in the previous season and is now trying to make up for it.

When Kenny Liu notices muddy water leaking from a room in Colony House, he discovers the woman building a large structure out of dirt. Boyd Stevens, prompted by a suggestion from Jade Herrera, asks her about it, and she reveals she’s constructing something based on religious stories.

Fatima Is Building A Golem In From Season 4

The townspeople are trapped, and strange, smiling monsters appear nightly. With a man named Douglas E. However, this golem might become another threat for Fatima and the other characters in From, and it appears to already be lurking within Colony House.

It makes sense that From would take such a frightening path, but there’s also a chance the golem could actually come to life and assist Fatima. Instead of simply representing hope, the golem might become a powerful ally in the fight against Smiley and the other monsters. A giant fighting on their side would be incredibly valuable, and could inspire others to believe things can improve – something that would disrupt the Man in Yellow’s scheme to create chaos and division.
