Pringles quietly drops Italian Meatball flavor ahead of summer

Pringles is releasing a new Italian Meatball flavor, and people are beginning to find it on store shelves. This is the latest in a series of meat-inspired flavors from the brand.

The new flavor started popping up online after Sporked, a food review site, noticed it at Shaw’s grocery stores. It also appeared on Instacart for delivery and pickup. Interestingly, Pringles hasn’t made any official announcement about the flavor yet.

Pringles is continuing to release flavors based on popular meats. They recently launched Italian Meatball chips, following the earlier release of Pulled Pork flavor at Walmart and Chicken Royale chips (inspired by a Burger King sandwich) in the UK.

The box for Italian Meatball Pringles shows a bowl of meatballs with sauce, and includes pictures of basil, tomatoes, and spaghetti. This is meant to give the impression that the chips taste like a classic Italian-American pasta meal.

Italian Meatball Pringles appear online

Okay, so Pringles is being super mysterious about their new flavor. The ingredients don’t really tell you much, but honestly? Looking at the packaging, it totally looks like they’re trying to make chips that taste like meatballs and marinara sauce. Like, savory, herby, tomato-y goodness. I’m guessing that’s what we’re getting, even though Pringles isn’t saying a word!

Right now, there aren’t many online reviews or comments about these chips, probably because they’ve only just become available in stores.

This new product launch comes as many chip companies are trying out unique flavors and snacks inspired by meals. For example, Kellanova just announced the return of Spicy Loaded Nachos Pringles to coincide with the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and Lay’s has been releasing a wide variety of international tastes in anticipation of the tournament.
