Starbites Steam demo launches today with PS5 and Switch demos coming soon

NIS America has released a demo for Starbites on PC (Steam), and demos for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch will be available shortly.

Currently, we don’t know if there will be a demo for Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch 2. However, based on how similar releases usually work, the demo will likely be available on the original Nintendo Switch. This demo includes the game’s prologue, and your progress will transfer to the full game when it launches on May 21st. Starbites will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam).

You can now try out Starbites with a demo on Steam! Demos for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch are also on their way.

I got to play the beginning of Starbites, the new RPG, and it was awesome! You get to try out Lukida, Badger, and Gwendoll right away. The battle system is really cool – it has these things called Driver’s High and Barrier Break that make things super interesting. Plus, you can start building up each character’s skills and abilities from the very beginning!

Lukida is desperate to escape the harsh desert planet of Bitter, and she finally manages to get a ticket off-world. Unfortunately, while on a simple scavenging run, a huge robot attacks and knocks her out. She wakes up injured and in debt, only to discover her ticket has been stolen! Now, with the help of her friends Gwendoll and Badger, Lukida must find the thief and reclaim her only hope for a fresh start.

Demo save data will transfer to the final game upon release.
