CaseOh’s mom says streamer turned down “millions” to protect his content

According to his mother, Angie Baker, CaseOh’s success on YouTube – going from a lawn-mowing job in Arkansas to becoming a top creator – wasn’t about simply earning money.

She recently told Business Insider that the creator has rejected several lucrative deals—worth millions of dollars—because they weren’t a good match for his brand or viewers.

I’m so excited to see CaseOh blowing up! It’s amazing how popular they’ve become – they’ve already got over 10 million subscribers on YouTube, and tons of fans on TikTok and Twitch too. It’s incredible to watch their growth!

CaseOh turned down major deals despite “millions” on offer

CaseOh’s mom shared that he doesn’t automatically accept every sponsored deal or promotion that comes his way; they have to be carefully considered.

“People think I have control. But this is his business,” she said. “He’ll get offered a lot of money to play a game, and it’s not his style — he’s turned down millions.”

“He knows his community won’t watch it,” she added. “He loves his community.”

Instead of awkwardly including sponsored games in his streams, CaseOh apparently avoids playing games that don’t fit what his audience enjoys.

Even though CaseOh has found success, his mother says he still prioritizes being genuine over simply making as much money as possible.

“He’ll play games off-stream that he knows his community won’t watch,” she explained.

She also pointed out how demanding streaming can be, explaining that he broadcasts for hours each night and rarely gets time to rest. Despite his increasing popularity and earnings, the family has remained private, with CaseOh avoiding extravagant spending and staying connected to his hometown.

Even as his influence grows, his mother says she still helps him behind the scenes, but ultimately he makes all the important decisions.

“He’s a grown man who makes his own decisions,” she said.
