Michael Saylor, the executive chairman with a penchant for digital gold, announced via his usual oracle-the “Orange Dots” chart-that this week, the dots were conspicuously absent. How utterly thrilling to end a four-week buying spree.
The chart, which followers treat as the gospel of crypto, simply stated, “No buys this week.” One might call it a masterclass in anticlimax.
He did not leave it at that. Saylor added that the firm would resume purchases next week, writing, “Back to work next week.” How industrious of him to take a hiatus.

Scale Of Recent Purchases Had Already Been Shrinking
The pause follows a noticeable slowdown in Strategy’s acquisitions. Last Monday, they picked up 3,273 BTC for about $255 million-a near 90% drop from the $2.54 billion splurge on April 20. How the mighty have scaled back!
Strategy’s total holdings now stand at 818,334 BTC, acquired at an average cost of $75,537 per coin. One shudders to contemplate the average.
BTC Price Holds Steady Despite The News
Bitcoin, ever the stoic, barely flinched. As of Sunday, it traded at $78,590, up a mere 0.28%. The $78,000 level holds firm, with $75,000 as the next support. How resilient-or utterly indifferent.
Analysts, in their eternal optimism, see resistance at $79,000 and dream of $86,000 to $88,000. Higher yet, $92,000 to $94,000 beckons. One can almost hear the champagne corks popping in anticipation.
For now, the market takes Saylor’s week off in stride. Strategy’s buying has become a closely watched signal, and with such vast holdings, even a pause draws attention. How utterly fascinating.
Whether next week brings a buying frenzy or another modest sigh remains to be seen. But in the world of Bitcoin, boredom is a luxury one cannot afford.
