Competition: Win Star Trek’s latest RPG-adjacent gaming adventure – and the Lego to match

Sometimes, the RPG Site team finds a game that isn’t strictly a role-playing game, but still interests us because it includes gameplay elements and features we think our audience will enjoy.

A pleasant surprise recently emerged in the strategy game genre: a Star Trek game focused on survival. It delivered everything players wanted and offered the same satisfying depth usually found only in role-playing games.

Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown blends several game types into one. It combines storytelling elements of visual novels with the decision-making of choose-your-own-adventure books, base building, and space exploration. There’s even a bit of roguelike randomness and RPG-style character development. Be careful though – your crew members can be lost depending on the choices you make during your journey.

We’ve already explained why we think this game is worth checking out, and now we’re excited to offer you a chance to win a free copy! Here’s what’s up for grabs:

  • Grand: The LEGO Star Trek USS Entertprise NCC 1701-D and a copy of Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown Deluxe Edition on the platform of your choice
  • 2x Runner Ups: A copy of Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown Deluxe Edition on the platform of your choice

I built that Lego set myself, and it’s truly excellent! It’s a great addition to the game.

To enter the competition, simply visit the Competition Form Entry and tell us: Which classic video game RPG character would you add to a Star Trek crew, and what would be your reasoning?

We’ll share our top choices on this page as soon as we’ve chosen a winner. Best of luck, and may the Force be with you!
