Archetype Entertainment is giving fans a closer look at Exodus with new gameplay previews. These previews highlight key features like character conversations, stealth mechanics, and how players will explore the game’s different environments, as part of the studio’s ongoing commitment to regular updates.
These gameplay clips follow the Gameplay First Look and Breaching Khonsu gameplay shown in March.
Throughout April, Archetype released five short videos, including: Conversation Choices, Persepolis Cityscape, Stealth in Action, and two videos titled Exploring A Distant Frozen World.
Exodus is set to release in Early 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
Conversation Choices First Look
We’re excited to share another look at Exodus gameplay! This time, it’s a more intimate scene: a calm conversation with Phaedra, one of your teammates, during a mission. These moments between battles are key to shaping Jun’s personality and influencing how your story progresses. In this particular conversation, you’ll get a glimpse of:
- Jun Aslan and Phaedra in a corroding Celestial facility, hunting for Remnants
- Phaedra has been infected by a Celestial virus that left her blind
- Her drone feeds her environmental data, and strangely, the virus has given her an unexpected ability to interface with Celestial glyphs
- Dialogue options branch in real time as Phaedra opens up about what she’s going through
Persepolis Cityscape
We’re excited to share more gameplay footage from Exodus! This time, we’re showcasing Persepolis, the massive city located on the scorching hot side of Lidon, and the home of Jun Aslan. You’ll get a bird’s-eye view of the incredible scale of humanity’s construction… and the city you’re battling to defend. This clip features:
- Jun Aslan stepping onto a balcony above Persepolis
- Use of Precognition to scan landmarks across the cityscape
- Galarus, the gas giant that Lidon orbits, dominating the sky
- Oupávia Space Tower damaged, but still standing in the distance
Stealth in Action
We’re giving you another look at early gameplay from Exodus! This time, we’re inside a heavily guarded Celestial chamber controlled by Zealot enemies. The focus here is on stealth – staying hidden lets you navigate dangerous areas and approach challenges your way. In this video, you’ll see:
- Jun Aslan infiltrating hostile territory with companions Tom Vargas and Suliman
- Use of Precognition to mark enemy positions before moving further in
- Disarming laser tripwire mines
- Close-quarters gauntlet takedowns
- The Recycler in the Spectre configuration: single-shot stealth mode for efficient eliminations
Traversing the Molten Depths
Hey everyone, I got a sneak peek at some new gameplay footage from Exodus, and it’s looking awesome! This time, they’re showing off the underground levels – think ancient alien ruins mixed with rivers of lava. It’s a really dynamic and dangerous place. In the video, you’ll get to see…
- Jun Aslan, descending through fiery ancient ruins deep underground with companions Tom Vargas and Salt the Octopus
- Use of the gantlet ability “Eruption” to do everything from clear debris, shape livestone into bridges, and redirect magma flow
Exploring A Distant Frozen World
We’re giving you a sneak peek at some early gameplay from Exodus! This short clip shows off a far-off, icy world – just one of the many you’ll visit as you search for Celestial Remnants, which could be humanity’s salvation. Here’s what you’ll see in this clip:
- Exploration through crystal cave passages alongside companions Salt the Octopus and Elise
- A vast vista overlooking icy monuments that have stood for millennia
- Architecture that is unmistakably alien, and certainly not built with humans in mind
