Woman blocked by DMV discovers she has a doppelgänger and tracks her down

An Indiana woman was shocked to discover her look-alike after the Department of Motor Vehicles thought she might be committing fraud while renewing her driver’s license.

I was so shocked to hear about Erika Brown! She was just trying to renew her driver’s license, something totally normal, and suddenly she got flagged for possible fraud. Apparently, the Fraud and Security Enforcement needed more proof that she was who she said she was, so they asked her to send in extra documents and come in for an interview. It sounds like a really stressful situation for something so routine!

During the meeting with the fraud investigators, she was shown photos of herself next to another woman, and she was immediately surprised by how much they looked alike.

Her doppelgänger is also an Indiana resident

Brown was surprised to discover the other woman was the same age and lived elsewhere in Indiana.

Brown discovered someone who looks just like her on TikTok and shared photos of the two side-by-side. She believes this woman, who lives in Indiana and is around the same age, is her doppelgänger, noting they appear to be of different ethnicities.

Brown is on a quest to find her look-alike, or “doppelgänger,” and asked for help online. She posted a message on TikTok saying, “I really need help finding my twin!” and apologized to the person in the picture she used, explaining that the photo looked just like her own.

She shared a new video explaining that she’s found the woman she was looking for and contacted her, but she doesn’t want to share any more details about who it is.

The fraud case was also resolved and Brown eventually received her license.
