Euler, Victim of $200M+ Exploit in 2023, Returns With ‘V2’

As a seasoned researcher with a keen interest in blockchain technology and its applications, I find myself intrigued by the resilience of Euler, a DeFi lending protocol that faced a significant setback in 2023 but has since bounced back with its V2 launch. The meta-lending approach promises to unlock an array of use cases, potentially revolutionizing on-chain credit management and integrating seamlessly into the evolving decentralized finance landscape.

In 2023, Euler – a DeFi lending protocol that experienced a significant exploit resulting in over $200 million in losses – has resurfaced with the introduction of Euler v2. This new iteration is dubbed as a “meta-lending protocol,” designed to unlock limitless use cases for on-chain credit. The team behind Euler v2 claims that it will empower developers to construct highly adaptable lending and borrowing vaults, which can be either permissioned or permissionless. As the world of decentralized finance (DeFi) expands and more users seek secure and efficient methods for managing on-chain credit, Euler v2 is expected to play a crucial role in expanding the crypto lending market, ultimately positioning it as a vital component within the global financial system. Notably, earlier this year, the project conducted a code audit competition to ensure the new version was thoroughly vetted, as reported by CoinDesk in February

Vape-to-Earn Crypto Project PuffPaw Raises $6M For Blockchain Vapes
