Domino’s & Coca-Cola give away free drinks in honor of viral delivery driver

In early April, 68-year-old Dan Simpson, a Domino’s delivery driver, became an internet sensation after he went the extra mile for a customer, purchasing a two-liter bottle of Diet Coke from another store when his location was out of stock.

Instead of arriving with nothing, Simpson quickly went to the corner store and bought the drink himself.

A TikTok video showing a delivery driver’s kind act went viral, leading to a lot of public support. A GoFundMe campaign started for the driver, Simpson, has already raised over $168,000 in the past month, and now Domino’s wants to recognize his generosity by paying it forward.

‘Dan the Man’s’ viral act of kindness inspires Domino’s & Coca-Cola giveaway

Domino’s and Coca-Cola are partnering to offer free Coca-Cola for a limited time, inspired by a heartwarming act of kindness that went viral, known as ‘Dan the Man.’ This was announced to TopMob on April 22, 2026.

From April 30th to May 3rd, Domino’s locations nationwide are honoring Dan by offering a free 20oz. Coca-Cola with online orders. Just use the code “DANTHEMAN” at checkout. You can choose regular Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, or Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.

Domino’s and Coca-Cola were really touched by Dan’s kindness and wanted to do something nice for someone else, so they reached out to us, Domino’s explained.

We think even small acts of kindness can make a huge difference, and we’re carrying on Dan’s legacy of giving through this effort.

The customers who shared the popular doorbell camera video explained to local news that they both have trouble seeing, which makes everyday tasks like picking up a two-liter of Coke much more difficult.

They explained that what seemed like a small fix for him actually had a big impact on us.
