All 13 Fights Confirmed For Street Fighter’s 2026 Movie

The upcoming 2026 film, Street Fighter, will reunite the franchise’s most iconic characters in a new movie. The story follows Chun-Li (played by Callina Liang) as she gathers fighters for the 1993 World Warrior Tournament. However, a hidden plot and clashing personalities mean the action will extend beyond the tournament itself.

Okay, so alongside Chun-Li, we’re getting a lot of familiar faces – Ken Masters, played by Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji as Ryu, and Cody Rhodes stepping into the role of Guile. These guys aren’t just cameos, though; they’re really central to the story, much like they were in the first movie. The plot mostly keeps them on the same team, but don’t think that means there won’t be some awesome fights between them! It sounds like we’ll get a bit of everything – teamwork and rivalry.

With so many characters already in the Street Fighter universe, there’s room for even more fighters to join the battle. Plus, even though the movie isn’t out until October, the marketing is ramping up, giving us a clearer picture of the story, characters, and action to expect.

The first glimpse of the movie showed a few quick fight scenes, but the official trailer gives a much clearer idea of what to expect. We now know the movie will feature 12 confirmed fights with diverse characters, settings, and special abilities.

13. Ken Vs. El Fuerte

Although many of the battles in the Street Fighter movie will happen during and around the World Warrior Tournament, the film will also show Ken fighting in other places. For example, we’ll see him compete against El Fuerte in a boxing match.

The movie’s promotion reveals that Ken will win the fight with a final kick to El Fuerte’s head. Hopefully, the actual movie will show more of El Fuerte’s wrestling skills before he’s likely defeated and no longer appears in the story.

12. Ken Vs. Balrog

Ken and Balrog (played by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) will face off in a fight set within the World Warrior Tournament. It’s unknown whether this battle happened during the 1993 tournament or if it’s a flashback to a prior event.

Balrog appears to win the fight against Ken. He lands several strong punches to Ken’s face, causing him to bleed and fall to the ground. Chun-Li observes the match from the sidelines.

11. Ryu Vs. Ken

A central theme in Street Fighter revolves around Ryu and Ken crossing paths again. The story shows their reunion beginning with a practice fight. Ken initiates the fight inside a room, but his attacks are wild and don’t pose a real challenge to Ryu.

Ryu is easily dodging Ken’s attacks. He recently stopped a kick by grabbing Ken’s foot and flipped him onto a couch, potentially ending their fight. This might give them a chance to resolve their issues and repair their friendship before the World Warrior Tournament begins.

10. Ryu Vs. Ken (Again)

Ryu and Ken are set to battle again in the latest Street Fighter game. A new trailer shows them facing off in a nighttime alley during a storm, each using their signature moves. While the reason for their fight isn’t clear, it seems these former friends still have unresolved issues or hidden secrets that could threaten their recent reconciliation.

A key moment in this battle appears to be the first time Ryu uses his signature move, the Hadoken – a fireball created between his hands. He launches it at Ken, and this is currently the last footage the developers have released, suggesting the fight might conclude here.

9. Guile Vs. Vega

The upcoming movie based on the video game will also feature a fight between Guile and Vega (played by Orville Peck). Unlike many of the battles, this one won’t happen during the World Warrior Tournament. Instead, it’s set in a nightclub where Guile is shown rushing at Vega and delivering a powerful backflip kick that sends him crashing through the wall and out onto the street.

8. Vega Vs. Dhalsim

Before Vega’s fight with Guile, he’ll also be battling Dhalsim (Vidyut Jammwal) in the same place. We haven’t seen much of this fight yet, except for a quick shot of Vega flipping over Dhalsim.

7. Chun-Li Vs. Vega & Juli

A particularly impressive fight scene in Street Fighter showcases Chun-Li’s abilities. While promotional materials have shown her battling Vega and Juli (played by Rayna Vallandingham) separately, it’s actually one continuous fight where she faces both opponents simultaneously.

I was absolutely captivated watching Chun-Li take on both Vega and Juli! She completely dominated Vega, relentlessly kicking him until he was out cold and leaning against the wall. Then, she effortlessly held Juli suspended in the air with just her foot, seemingly choking her – it really looked like the fight was over right there. What struck me most was that the whole incredible battle unfolded right in M. Bison’s office – can you believe it?

6. Ken Vs. Zangief

Ken finds himself unexpectedly thrown into a fight, seemingly ambushed by Zangief. Footage shows Zangief grabbing Ken and launching him into the air, setting him up for his famous spinning piledriver move. This appears to be a sudden, public attack rather than a planned match.

5. Ryu Vs. E. Honda

Okay, so this is wild! Apparently, the new Street Fighter movie is going to have a fight scene… in a sauna! I saw some stills, and Ryu and E. Honda are practically down to their towels. It looks like Honda’s really going after Ryu, even pinning his head against the wall at one point. And get this – it’s not part of the official World Warrior Tournament stuff, it’s a separate brawl!

4. Ryu Vs. Akuma

Ryu will face off against Akuma (played by Joe Anoa’i, known as Roman Reigns) in another Street Fighter battle. Although the fight takes place at what seems to be the World Warrior Tournament location, it’s separate from the main competition. It’s a nighttime duel with no audience, featuring only Ryu and Akuma.

Based on what we’ve seen so far, Akuma seems to be winning. He unleashes a unique purple fireball, called the Gohadoken, and successfully hits Ryu with it, setting him ablaze.
