Pokemon fans have a lot to be excited about! Target is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Pokemon franchise with a special collaboration, and one of the biggest highlights is the return of Pokemon-themed Pop-Tarts.
The store just launched a special collection of over 100 products, and it already includes the popular, retro toaster pastries everyone remembers.
Target is teaming up with Pokemon as the exclusive big-box retailer in the U.S. for a special 30th-anniversary collection. The collection includes clothing, accessories, items for the home, and even food and drinks. The first items will be available in Target stores on May 2nd and online on May 3rd.
A second drop is set to follow on June 6.

Celebrate Pokemon 30th at Target
The collection features nostalgic items like Starter jackets, Trapper Keepers, and even Pokemon-themed hair clips and puzzles. However, many longtime fans will likely be most excited about the Pokemon Pop-Tarts.
Target’s website currently lists a 12-count box of Pop-Tarts Pokemon Frosted Vanilla Cupcake Toaster Pastries for $3.99.

This new release is a fun throwback for fans who fondly remember Pokemon Pop-Tarts from the early 2000s. The original limited-edition pastries were launched alongside the Pokemon 2000 movie and Pokemon 3, and this is the first time they’ve been available in about 25 years.
Target created this expanded Pokemon collection with input from dedicated fans who work on their team. Most items are affordable, with almost half costing less than $20 and prices starting at just $3.50. While the collection offers a lot for serious collectors and trading card game players, many older Pokemon fans might be most excited to see the return of classic Pop-Tarts, bringing back nostalgic childhood memories.
