Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, a popular YouTuber and livestreamer, has issued an apology after mistakenly accusing someone of attempting to meet a underage person during a livestreamed operation in California.
Vitaly, who goes by VitalyzdTv online, is a streamer on Kick known for his lively broadcasts and attention-grabbing public stunts. He was deported to Russia earlier this year by Philippine authorities after being arrested and imprisoned in the country for previous offenses.
The recent controversy involved one of Vitaly Zdorovetskiy’s “predator sting” videos. In it, Akash Singhania was accused on camera of attempting to meet a 16-year-old girl. Singhania claims police investigated and found no evidence of wrongdoing, but the accusations have had a significant negative impact on his life.

Vitaly and Singhania respond to false accusations
I’ve been following this case, and from what I understand, Mr. Singhania immediately denied any wrongdoing when the accusations came up. He actually thought he was meeting someone who was an adult. What’s really interesting is that he was the one who called the police! Apparently, the Santa Ana Police Department came out and investigated, and they determined he hadn’t done anything wrong. It’s good to know they cleared him after looking into it.
I just saw Vitaly’s apology online, and it sounds like there was a big mistake. Apparently, his team wrongly accused Akash Singhania of being a child predator, which is awful! Thankfully, Singhania’s been completely cleared, and Vitaly’s taken the video down. He’s asking everyone else to stop sharing it too, which seems like the right thing to do.
Singhania shared on X that the incident completely disrupted his life, leading to harassment, unfair criticism, and harm to his personal and professional connections, even after he publicly clarified the situation.
This weekend has been really difficult for me. I appeared on a recent live stream hosted by Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, and unfortunately, I was misrepresented as doing something inappropriate. I want to be clear that this accusation is completely untrue.

As a fan, I’ve been really disturbed by this whole situation, and it’s brought a lot of attention to how problematic these livestreamed ‘vigilante’ investigations can be. Police have been saying for a while now that these things can actually hurt real investigations and make it harder to build a case. And this time, it’s even worse – someone totally innocent was publicly accused and humiliated before the police even had a chance to look into anything. It’s just awful.
It’s been crazy seeing the fallout from everything, and it’s even affected Kick, the platform where it all happened. Apparently, Vitaly’s channel has been banned there too – when I go to his page now, it just says ‘Channel Not Found.’ It’s a mess!
