As a dedicated Honkai: Star Rail player with countless hours spent battling through dimensions and collecting every playable character, I can’t help but get excited about the latest leak revealing Tingyun’s new form! This foxian vessel of Lord Ravager has always been an intriguing character, and I’ve been eagerly waiting for more details about her.
A recent leak on Honkai: Star Rail has shed light on potential changes for the beloved four-star character Tingyun. Historically, Honkai: Star Rail introduces at least two fresh playable characters in every update, distributed throughout the update’s two rotation phases.
With each update for the game “Honkai: Star Rail”, publisher HoYoverse has been bringing back popular banners more often. In the current Version 2.4, a new user named Yunli (from the Destruction faction) was introduced and her banner is set to end around August 21. Following this, during the second phase of the banner, the character Jiaoqiu from the Nihility group will be highlighted.
While the release of a new main character seems to be the primary focus of each update, many players appear even more excited when an older Honkai: Star Rail character receives a new form. Excluding the Trailblazer’s different paths, Honkai: Star Rail has already added two reworked versions of existing characters: Dan Heng and March 7th. A credible leaker known as Team Mew has revealed additional details about the previously rumored form for Tingyun. The leak indicates that the new version of Tingyun will have a five-star rarity and follow the Path of Nihility. This strongly suggests that Tingyun’s Nihility version will be introduced as a new five-star character.
Honkai: Star Rail Leak Hints at Tingyun’s New Form and Release Date
As a gamer, I’ve recently discovered that Tingyun, the character I’m following in Honkai: Star Rail, is actually a young foxian and the host of Lord Ravager, one of the main villains in the game. There’s still a lot we don’t know about this enigmatic figure, but I suspect we’ll get more insights once she undergoes a transformation into a new form. This isn’t the first time HoYoverse has done something like this – remember when Dan Heng’s awakened form, Imbibitor Lunae, was introduced as a completely new five-star unit? Exciting times ahead!
It’s been disclosed by the source that Tingyun likely won’t debut in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6, set to conclude in December 2024. This implies that HoYoverse has some leeway to fine-tune her release before she officially arrives.
