To mark the one-year anniversary of The First Berserker: Khazan, Nexon and Neople have released data showing what players have achieved since the game launched in March 2025. Junho Lee, the game’s creative director, also shared a thank-you message and new infographics highlighting these player statistics.
The newly revealed stats include:
- Journey’s End: 40% of players achieved The First Berserker ending
- Deadliest Bosses: 1. Viper, 2. Volbaino, 3. Maluca
- Deadliest Mobs: 1. Pincer Spider, 2. Lunatic Destroyer, 3. Wild Bear
- Total Deaths: 273,804,045 lives lost
- Death Causes (Non-Combat): 1. Falling, 2. Status Effect, 3. Traps
- Most Popular Weapon Types: Spear 38%, Dual Wield 37%, Greatsword 25%
- Most Allocated Stat: Endurance
- Most Popular Phantom: Keshta the Unyielding
- Fastest Hardcore Difficulty Clear Time: 2 hours 10 mins
In a recent anniversary message, creative director Junho Lee explained that he put everything he had into developing Khazan, believing it would define his career. He was then overwhelmed and grateful by the incredible support from players, who not only played the game but also provided valuable feedback and encouragement.
The action game The First Berserker: Khazan was released globally on March 27, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). Final Weapon gave the game a 4/5 rating, praising its challenging combat and impressive boss battles. Since its release, The First Berserker: Khazan has won several awards, including three at the 2025 Korea Game Awards: Top Excellence Award, Technical Creativity in Graphics, and Popular Voice Actor (Lee Hyun).
