Information from a recent leak by Honkai: Star Rail leaker Sakura Haven reveals the content lineup for the game’s upcoming Version 2.6 update. Based on the leak, players will revisit the newest game world in Version 2.6, with fresh story content in Penacony that is similar in length to the main story presented in Version 2.3. The leak indicates that only one new five-star character will be introduced in this update, without mentioning any four-star characters set for release during the patch. Additionally, there are hints that one of the characters might belong to the Imaginary element, possibly alluding to the previously leaked character known as Sunday.

The leak also includes details about several smaller pieces of content planned to be included with Version 2.6. The post confirms there will be no new event Light Cone during the update, nor will there be a new Light Cone available through the Herta Store. The update will, however, feature a Light Cone through the gacha, as well as a new Relic set available during Version 2.6. The post even suggests that HoYoverse may be starting testing soon for characters coming with the game’s next world, expected to launch early next year.
