Popular Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel was surprised to discover he was the subject of a ‘streamer game’ called Content King, but someone else was actually controlling his actions within the game.
I’ve been noticing a cool trend in indie games lately – a few of them let you be a streamer, starting with zero followers and trying to become super popular. It’s hilarious because a lot of well-known streamers are actually playing these games too, and they’re basically poking fun at how they got famous!
The latest of these, Content King, was released back on March 19, and has already been streamed on Twitch by a number of top names.
This also applies to xQc, who spotted himself as a character in the new game, along with other streamers. However, he didn’t provide the voice for his in-game counterpart.
xQc finds Myth voicing him in Content King game
During his stream on March 23rd, the popular former Overwatch League player started playing the new game and discovered a character modeled after himself, nicknamed ‘PVC’. The character is designed to look like him, complete with a famous meme often used by his fans.
However, when xQc started speaking, people immediately realized he was using the famous voice impression of Myth.
xQc expressed his surprise and frustration, saying, “They chose him instead of me!” He then questioned why that decision was justified, repeating, “Why is that even true?”
The Steam page for Content King mentions that many characters are voiced by actual streamers, but these characters are comedic exaggerations of the streamers themselves.
While playing, xQc discovered parodies featuring Asmongold, Trainwreck, and other streamers, all voiced by impersonators.
This isn’t the first game to include references to Twitch streamers. Back in 2025, a game called Paradise announced players could encounter characters based on streamers, but many of those creators protested, stating they hadn’t given permission.
