Emily Osment Won’t Be at the Hannah Montana Premiere

You know, it always seems to circle back to Young Sheldon somehow! I just found out Emily Osment won’t be at the premiere for the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special because she’s busy filming George and Mandy’s First Marriage. She posted on Instagram about how much Hannah Montana meant to her – she said it really shaped her as a comedian, taught her a lot about professionalism, and gave her a lasting appreciation for the industry. It’s amazing to think about how many fans she’s met over the years, some who grew up with the show and now have kids watching it, and even people she works with now! She even mentioned Montana Jordan – apparently he’s a huge fan and has seen every episode! She was super touched by all the sweet messages she’s been getting and feels so lucky to have been part of such a massive show.

Miley Cyrus, Jason Earles, and Moisés Arias, the show’s main stars, were at the premiere held at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles. Several supporting cast members, including Shanica Knowles, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, and Cody Linley, also walked the red carpet. While it’s uncertain if their characters, Hannah and Lola, will interact again, Osment expressed gratitude to the audience, saying, “Thank you for welcoming me into your homes, and I hope to continue entertaining you for many years to come. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you, and I’m excited to continue working on another show I truly love.”
