Paramount+ has released the first trailer for The Dutton Ranch, a new neo-Western series connected to the popular Yellowstone universe. The show will debut on May 15th with the first two episodes of its nine-episode season.
The new series, The Dutton Ranch, follows Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton as they try to start over in South Texas. However, their dream of escaping their past at Yellowstone is quickly challenged by harsh new circumstances and a powerful rival ranch determined to maintain control.
Chad Feehan is the executive producer and lead creative force behind The Dutton Ranch. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser will star as their popular characters, Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, and Finn Little will return as Carter. Filming began in August 2025 in Ferris, Texas.
Joining the cast of The Dutton Ranch are Jai Courtney as Rob-Will, the intimidating and unpredictable ranch foreman; Ed Harris as Everett McKinney, a seasoned veterinarian known for his kindness, understanding, and sense of humor; and Annette Bening as Beulah Jackson, the strong, clever, and charismatic owner of a large Texas ranch.
Natalie Alyn Lind, Marc Menchaca, Juan Pablo Raba, and J.R. Villarreal will star in The Dutton Ranch. Menchaca will play Zachariah, an ex-convict attempting to start over as a cowboy, and Lind will portray Oreana, a captivating and independent young woman.
Villarreal will play Azul, described as a skilled and quick-witted ranch hand and Rip’s close associate. Raba has been cast as Joaquin, a ranch worker who handles all kinds of repairs and issues. Given these roles, it’s probable that Raba’s character, Joaquin, will be working for Beulah Jackson, played by Bening.
The Dutton Ranch premieres on Paramount+ on May 15.
