Sega just launched a live-action drama called Yakuza Powered by Nihon Touitsu on YouTube, and it’s available to watch globally.
All three episodes are now released! This show is a special project created together by RGG Studio and the team behind the popular Japanese game series, Nihon Touitsu. You can watch the episodes and read the official announcement from Sega here:
SEGA has released all three episodes of its live-action drama, Yakuza Powered by Nihon Touitsu, on the official SEGA YouTube channel. The series is a unique partnership between Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and the team behind the popular Japanese video game series Nihon Touitsu, which explores the world of the Japanese yakuza.
This three-part drama was first shown in Japan and tells the story leading up to the release of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties. The game launched on February 12th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
The game features voice actors Yasufumi Motomiya as Kazuma Kiryu, Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi as Goro Majima, Kazuhiro Nakaya as Akira Nishikiyama, and Kenji Matsuda as Makoto Date.
