Introduction

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

As a seasoned Honkai Impact 3rd player with countless hours spent battling through various dimensions, I must say that March 7th, also known as Shifu, is truly a game-changer. Her unique abilities and versatile team compositions make her an essential addition to any player’s roster.

On the fictional date of March 7th (referred to as “The Hunt”), there’s a character named March 7th who boosts her abilities when receiving guidance from her teammates, a process known as Mentorship. By earning Charge points through actions initiated by both her and her mentor (her Shifu), she can then release stronger attacks.

Skills Overview

Basic Attack – My Sword Zaps Demons

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

Deal damage ranging from 50% to 110% of the enemy’s Attack from March 7th, focusing on one opponent, and also gain 1 Charge point in the process.

Basic Attack – Brows Be Smitten, Heart Be Bitten

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

At first, it delivers three blows, each one dealing imaginary damage that’s between 40% and 88% of the current Attack power on a single opponent. Following the last blow, there is a 60% chance to deliver an additional blow, with a maximum of up to three extra blows.

  • Energy regenerated from using Enhanced Basic ATK does not increase with the number of hits.
  • Enhanced Basic ATK cannot recover Skill Points.

Skill – Master, It’s Tea Time!

Assigns one ally (excluding this unit) as “Shifu” and boosts that “Shifu’s Speed” by 6% to 10.8%. The most recent target of March 7th’s skill is the one considered as “Shifu”. When using a standard attack or dealing a single hit of an enhanced basic attack’s damage, activates the effect associated with Shifu’s Path based on the situation.

Wisdom, Ruin, Quest, Plenty: Causes extra damage (damage type matching Shifu’s combat style) that is between 10% and 22% of March 7th’s Attack Power.
Unity, Obliteration, Conservation, Prosperity: Amplifies the Toughness Reduction of this damage instance by 100%.

Ultimate – March 7th, the Apex Heroine

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

As a seasoned gamer with years of battlefield experience under my belt, I find this game mechanic particularly intriguing. The ability to deal enhanced damage to a single target enemy, equivalent to 144-259.2% of March 7th’s Attack power, is something that could turn the tide in many tight battles. Moreover, the added effect of increasing the initial Hits Per Action of the next Enhanced Basic ATK by 2 hits and boosting the fixed chance of dealing additional damage by 20%, makes this skill an essential tool for any strategic gamer. The potential for devastating damage output and increased attack efficiency is certainly not something to be overlooked, as I’ve learned from countless hours spent honing my skills in various games. Overall, this mechanic adds a layer of depth and excitement to the gameplay that I find truly captivating.

Talent – Master, I’ve Ascended!

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

After Shifu executes an attack or Ultimate, March 7th accumulates up to one charge point per instance. When March 7th has 7 or more charge points, she automatically activates and boosts her damage output by 40%-88%. Her basic attack becomes stronger, but her skill is temporarily unavailable during this period. Following the use of the enhanced basic attack, 7 charge points are deducted. Keep in mind that the maximum charge points March 7th can hold is 10.

Technique – Feast in One Go

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

As a devoted fan, I’d put it this way: “If March 7th is part of my team, she starts the following battle with an extra Charge point whenever an ally employs Technique, up to a maximum of three points. Plus, after employing Technique, March 7th regenerates a whopping 30 Energy when the next fight commences.”

Ascension 2 – Swan Soar

When the battle starts, March 7th’s action is Advanced Forward by 25%.

Ascension 4 – Filigree

On March 7th, the toughness of enemies sharing the same weakness type as Shifu’s combat type can be lessened. Activating their weakness will initiate the “Phantom Weakness Shatter” effect.

Ascension 6 – Tide Tamer

Following the application of the Advanced Basic ATK, Shifu’s Critical Damage boosts by 60% and Break Effect increases by 36%, persisting for a duration of 2 turns.

TLDR

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

On the 7th of March, the new kit exudes Sub-Damage Per Second (Sub-DPS), though Shifu might not be familiar to some. Nonetheless, she’s an excellent choice as a free Sub-DPS. To fully grasp her abilities, let’s delve into them piece by piece.

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

Let’s talk about March’s latest ability now. This new feature enables her to assign an ally as her mentor, thereby increasing the mentor’s Speed by 10%. Depending on the mentor’s path, this will either boost March’s damage output (for paths such as Hunt, Destruction, or Erudition) or enhance her defense (for paths like Harmony, Nihility, Preservation, and Abundance). This setup works particularly well for a Critical Hit build in March’s case. If her mentor belongs to the Damage-dealing paths, it will boost her basic and enhanced basic attack damage. On the other hand, if the mentor is from non-damaging paths, it will strengthen her Toughness damage. This configuration suits the Break build for March.

Concerning her ultimate ability, it shares some resemblance with the basic attack in that it inflicts Imaginary Damage. The crucial aspect is that it enhances the initial number of hits for the next enhanced basic attack by 2 and raises the chance to deal extra damage. In essence, the ultimate serves to amplify her next enhanced basic attack.

March 7th (The Hunt) Character Guide

As a long-time gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can tell you that understanding the mechanics of different characters in a game is crucial to mastering it. In this particular game, I’ve come across a character named March who has an interesting ability called Enhanced Basic ATK. This move is her main damage output and knowing how to use it effectively can make all the difference in a battle.

Boost the CRIT Hit Chance of the wearer by 18-30% and enhance their subsequent attack’s damage by 30-50%. After the wearer performs a follow-up attack, inflict the Tamed state on the target, accumulating up to 2 stacks. When your allies strike enemies under the Tamed state, each stack increases the CRIT Damage they deal by 12-20%.

2) Cruising in the Stellar Sea

As a seasoned adventurer with countless battles under my belt, I can confidently say that this equipment is a game-changer. It significantly boosts my critical hit rate by 8-16%, which has already proven to be a decisive factor in many tight situations. What’s more, it raises my critical hit rate against enemies with low health even further, making those tough battles just a tad easier to manage. And let’s not forget the added bonus: when I take down an enemy, my attack power skyrockets by 20-40% for two turns! This equipment has undoubtedly elevated my adventures to new heights and given me the edge I need to conquer even the toughest foes.

Boosts the wearer’s Critical Damage by between 30% and 50%. If the wearer’s Basic Attack or Skill doesn’t cause a Critical Hit, it raises their Critical Rate by 36% to 60% for one turn. However, this effect can only occur once every three turns.

5) River Flows in Spring

Upon engaging in combat, this item boosts the wearer’s Speed by 8-12% and Damage output by 12-24%. However, when the wearer receives damage, this enhancement vanishes. It reactivates after the wearer has completed their subsequent turn.

6) Sailing Towards a Second Life (Break Build)

Enhances the user’s Break Power by 60-100%, making them deal more Break Damage that disregards 20-32% of the target’s Defense. When the user’s Break Power in combat exceeds 150%, it also boosts their Speed by 12-20%.
