How to Solve the Glenbright Manor Puzzle in Crimson Desert

One of the fastest ways to earn money in Crimson Desert is by stealing from rich people, and the game has plenty of them. You’ll even visit the home of a wealthy character during the main story.

During the third major quest, you’ll visit Glenbright Manor. Don’t rush through it! Taking your time will allow you to solve a puzzle and find some valuable items you can sell for extra money.

Here’s how you can solve the Glenbright Manor puzzle in Crimson Desert.

Solving the Glenbright Manor Puzzle

In the quest “Traces in the Manor,” you’ll need to visit and explore Glenbright Manor. You can rush through the main objectives, but taking your time allows you to uncover some hidden areas within the manor.

As a fan, I immediately noticed the statue up in the hallway above the entrance – it’s holding this huge sphere with a crystal inside! And if you pan out a bit, you’ll see the chandelier right over the front door has a crystal too. It’s a really cool detail!

Okay, so first thing you want to do is check out the cabinet to the left of that statue. When you open it, you’ll find a handwheel inside – make sure you click on that!

Turning the handwheel will rotate the chandelier. Position it so the light beam hits the crystal within the statue.

Once you activate the crystal, a hidden wall will open to the left of the cabinet, revealing a dagger. Take that dagger, and then pick up the other one located on the stand to the right of the statue.

Grabbing the Basement Key

Before continuing, make sure you have the basement key. Head down the stairs, and look to the left. You’ll see a painting on the wall there.

Don’t try to touch the painting. Instead, walk directly into the wall – it will rotate and open up a hidden room.

This small room contains several valuable items, including the Glenbright Manor Basement Key. Make sure to take the key – you’ll need it later on.

Opening the Door to the Basement

With everything you need gathered, proceed through the manor to the room with the large fireplace – it’s located at the end of the hallway.

Notice the two openings in the fireplace. Place the daggers you found into them. This will cause the bookcase next to the fireplace to slide aside, uncovering a hidden doorway.

You can now enter the manor’s basement, where you’ll find more things to take and ingredients for cooking. You can also use the basement key to open the wooden door down there.

This room contains items you can take, including a recipe for Meliara’s Lesser Elixir. This elixir boosts your health and attack speed, and you’ll also find several pre-made elixirs here with other helpful effects.
