Twitch streamer RaKai has been banned again, this time for sharing LaMelo Ball’s personal phone number. This latest violation could result in a lifetime ban from the platform.
Quvonn Rakai Linder, known online as RaKai, quickly became a popular streamer on Twitch in 2025, often collaborating with big names like Kai Cenat and AMP. However, he was temporarily banned from the platform later in the year.
RaKai, a 17-year-old streamer, initially thought they were banned from Twitch for two years at the end of 2025. However, Twitch explained that this was just a mistake on the platform – a visual bug – and that RaKai would actually be able to return to streaming in early 2026.
By March, the streamer had been banned again, this time for sharing LaMelo Ball’s phone number. He says this latest violation means one more mistake will result in a permanent ban from the platform.
RaKai banned from Twitch again
The Twitch streamer displayed the ban notice he got right after sharing the NBA player’s phone number online.
He’s suspended from Twitch for 30 days, until April 13th, because he violated their new rules about bans. This means he can’t stream or participate in chats during that time.
“I’m sorry,” RaKai posted on X (formerly Twitter), tagging the Charlotte Hornets star in the post.

RaKai addresses Twitch ban on YouTube
Similar to his past bans, RaKai is now streaming on YouTube. While there, he mentioned that his next ban will likely result in a permanent removal from Twitch.
However, the streamer did ask for a bit of leeway as he didn’t purposely leak the details.
I believe I was banned because I shared his phone number. I’m okay with a one-day ban on Twitch. I messed up, I admit it. But to be clear, I didn’t publicly announce it like, ‘Everyone, look at LaMelo Ball’s number!’
I already explained this to my Twitch representative, but they said it wasn’t possible. They also warned me that if I ban anyone else, I’ll be permanently banned from Twitch – for good. That’s what they told me, man.
Timestamp of 5:00
According to Twitch, RaKai’s ban will remain on his account until March 3, 2028. If he violates the rules again, he could face more severe penalties.
Twitch could lift RaKai’s suspension before mid-April, letting him return to the platform. But for now, and likely for a while, he’ll continue streaming on YouTube.
