As a seasoned veteran of the Void, I can confidently say that Yunli’s journey through Honkai: Star Rail is made infinitely more thrilling with the right Light Cone by her side. Now, let me tell you about two of my favorite companions for our dance-loving heroine – The Unreachable Side and Dance at Sunset!

In Honkai: Star Rail, Yunli and Clara exhibit numerous comparable traits. They’re both youthful characters, possess Physical attributes, adhere to the Destruction pathway within the game, and their playstyle primarily revolves around Counter mechanics. Interestingly, they are both high-tier 5-star units in the game, implying that acquiring them from the Warp Banners is not a common occurrence.

I’m thrilled to share that when it comes to my favorite Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail, there are some obtainable choices just as easy as getting a 5-star unit – and that’s quite a relief! For example, a weapon from the Free-to-Play Simulated Universe.

Flames Afar

When the wearer’s cumulative HP loss during one attack exceeds 25% of their Max HP, or if the amount of their own HP consumed at one time is greater than 25% of their Max HP, immediately heals the wearer for 15% of their Max HP, and at the same time, increases the DMG they deal by 50% for 2 turn(s). This effect can only be triggered once every 3 turn(s).

For Yunli, Flames Afar is an excellent choice because it bypasses her Health Points (HP) depletion, a condition she can maintain effortlessly due to her constant ability to Taunt enemies and receive attacks.

Nowhere To Run

Increases the wearer’s ATK by 24%. Whenever the wearer defeats an enemy, they restore HP equal to 12% of their ATK.

In the game Honkai: Star Rail, Nowhere To Run is one of the Battle Pass weapons. Since it’s not readily available to all players, it might not be the first choice in your inventory. This weapon boasts a high Base Attack and an effective passive ability, but due to the availability of other superior options like the F2P On the Fall of an Aeon, it’s seldom selected from the Battle Pass.

Brighter Than The Sun

Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 18%. When the wearer uses Basic ATK, they will gain one stack of Dragon’s Call for 2 turns. Each stack of Dragon’s Call increases the wearer’s ATK by 18% and Energy Regeneration Rate by 6%. Dragon’s Call can be stacked up to 2 times.

In Honkai: Star Rail, due to Yunli’s abilities (Counter, Ultimate, and Skill) causing damage instead of her Basic Attack, she won’t activate the passive for Brighter Than The Sun. However, this doesn’t diminish its value as it significantly increases Crit Rate and has a high Base ATTACK, making it an excellent stat-booster for Yunli in the game.

I Shall Be My Own World

Increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 20%. When an ally (excluding the wearer) gets attacked or loses HP, the wearer gains 1 stack of Eclipse, up to a max of 3 stack(s). Each stack of Eclipse increases the DMG of the wearer’s next attack by 14.0%. When 3 stack(s) are reached, additionally enables that attack to ignore 12% of the enemy’s DEF. This effect will be removed after the wearer uses an attack.

It’s unfortunate that Jingliu’s famous ability, “I Shall Be My Own World,” only activates when other allies are either attacked or lose health. This restriction somewhat hinders its effectiveness for Yunli. However, since many enemies possess area-of-effect attacks, Yunli may occasionally leverage the passive benefit, even during her taunting of the foes.

On The Fall Of An Aeon

Whenever the wearer attacks, their ATK is increased by 16% in this battle, up to 4 time(s). When the wearer inflicts Weakness Break on enemies, the wearer’s DMG increases by 24% for 2 turn(s).

In the game “Honkai: Star Rail,” players have the opportunity to acquire a free Light Cone called “On the Fall of an Aeon“. This item is effortlessly combined, or Superimposed, in the Simulated Universe. As a result, the character Yunli can quickly receive a significant 64% attack boost.

Something Irreplaceable

Just as Yunli has the knack for retaliating when struck by foes, Clara’s abilities mirror this pattern. Consequently, Clara’s Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail seems tailor-made for Yunli. Something Invaluable, on the other hand, boosts her attack power without any prerequisites and further increases damage after she takes a hit.

The Unreachable Side

Increase the wearer’s CRIT Rate and Max HP by 18%. After the wearer is attacked or consumes their own HP, increases the wearer’s DMG by 24%. This effect is dispelled after the user uses an attack.

Yunli’s gear focuses on counterattacking after taking a hit, making The Unreachable Side an excellent choice because it increases her damage output when her health decreases. However, be aware that fielding a shield character is not possible while Yunli is utilizing the Light Cone.

Dance At Sunset

Greatly increases the odds that the wearer will be attacked and increases the wearer’s CRIT DMG by 36%. After the wearer uses their Ultimate, they receive 1 stack of Firedance, lasting for 2 turns and up to 2 stacks. Each stack of Firedance increases the DMG dealt by the wearer’s follow-up attack by 36%.

At sunset, dancing becomes Yunli’s most effective strategy in Honkai: Star Rail. This dance raises the likelihood of Yunli being attacked, which is ideal for activating her Counterattacks. As Yunli’s Counter also qualifies as a follow-up attack, the bonus from the follow-up attack is very beneficial.
