
Bobby J. Brown, known for his role as Officer Bobby Brown in the final two seasons of the TV show The Wire, has died at age 62. According to TMZ, he suffered fatal injuries in a barn fire in Maryland on February 24th. Authorities have ruled his death an accident, stating he was attempting to jump-start a vehicle when the fire began. His wife was reportedly burned while trying to help him. His agent, Albert Bramante, described Brown as a talented and dedicated actor who brought a unique intensity to his roles. Bramante noted Brown’s background as a champion boxer and highlighted his ability to enhance every scene he appeared in, calling him a true ‘character actor.’ He added that they were proud to have represented him and will deeply miss him and his passion for acting.
Reina described her father as a wonderful person and a beloved figure in their community. ‘He was truly special and will be deeply missed,’ she told People magazine.
