Resident Evil Requiem draws heavily from both older and newer games in the Resident Evil series. Like the remake of Resident Evil 2, it features safes that players can open.
Opening these safes will reward you with valuable items and resources, which you’ll find are essential for success. You’ll definitely need everything you can gather!
In Requiem, there are five safes to open, and unlocking them all in one game will earn you the “No Safe is Safe” trophy. Because there aren’t many safes, it’s often quite simple to find them all during your first time playing, as long as you’re comfortable with exploring and revisiting areas – a common practice in Resident Evil games.
Although Leon can sometimes open safes, it’s more reliable to focus on Grace doing it. The items inside are often best used by her anyway. So, let’s make the game a little easier and grab those helpful supplies!
The same cheat codes work in Casual, Standard (Modern), and Standard (Classic) modes. However, Insanity mode uses a completely different set of codes that haven’t been found yet.
You can find another safe on Rhodes Hill, but it’s already been looted, so it doesn’t contribute to the trophy collection and won’t be detailed in our guide.
This article will steer clear of major story spoilers, but it may briefly mention some things that happen during gameplay.
All Rhodes Hill Safes (+Where to Find the Codes)
Bar and Lounge
You’ll probably find your first safe in the Bar and Lounge, and it’s a bit odd – you’ll also discover Grace’s gun there. She even mentions it in the game!
You won’t find the safe’s code until you reach the Office behind the Kitchenette. The direct path to the Office is locked, so you’ll need to take a longer route around.
When you arrive at the office, you’ll find the safe code for the Bar and Lounge on a desk. This code will be saved in your menu, so you can go straight to the Bar and Lounge and open the safe without needing to return to the office later.
The code itself is: (Left) 10, (Right) 80, (Left) 30.
First, turn the dial counterclockwise to 10, then clockwise to 80, and finally counterclockwise to 30. Entering this sequence will unlock the safe.
Inside is a bunch of Antique Coins, which you can use at the Parlor.
Examination Room
As we know, the codes for these safes aren’t located in the same room, meaning you won’t find the code for the safe in the Examination Room just sitting around.
You’ll discover the code while heading to the Conference Room. Just before you enter, peek around the corner near the broken locker – the code for the Examination Room safe is lying on top of it.
The code is: (Right) 30, (Left) 10, and (Right) 50.
Inside there are more Antique Coins that can be spent at the Parlor.
Basement Safe
You’ll discover the code for the Basement safe before you actually find the safe itself. If you’re playing as Leon and coming down from the attic, the very first damaged wooden wardrobe you encounter can be opened with his hatchet. Inside, you’ll find the Basement Safe Code.
It means nothing to Leon, so just have fun killing zombies.
Okay, so when I’m playing as Grace and exploring the basement, that’s where I found the safe. It’s hidden in a spot that doesn’t really stand out, over on the left side of the map. There’s a weird plug near a locked forklift, and right behind that is this small room with the safe inside. That’s where you can use the code Leon figured out – I’m guessing he sent it to Grace on her phone or something!
The code is: (Left) 60, (Right) 40, and then (Left) 80.
This reward gives you handgun ammunition and a map showing the locations of all the Mr. Raccoon Memoriam Statues in Rhodes Hill, making them much easier to find.

Sterilization Chamber Safe
During your first time navigating the Sterilization Chamber, if you’re avoiding enemies, you’ll discover a safe in the far right corner. Make a note of its location, as you won’t find the code to open it right away.
You’ll find the code after you assist Leon and enter Bioweapon Repository 05. Inside, you’ll see cube-shaped containers – some are open already, and you’ll need to open others. Luckily, the first container you encounter just inside the entrance holds the code for the safe in the Monitor Control Room Chamber.

If you spare the enemies in the Sterilization Chamber, you’ll need to keep sneaking around. But if you eliminate them, you can simply rush in and claim your prize.
Going back, you’ll be able to put in the code: (Right) 10, (Left) 90, (Right) 20.
Once you open the safe, you’ll find a Med Injector—it’s replaced the First Aid Spray—along with a Molotov Cocktail and some extra handgun ammo, which is always useful.
Monitor Control Room Safe
Once you’ve assisted Leon, he’ll give you a key to unlock the door at the Lab Entrance, giving you access to the Lobby. Inside the Lobby, you’ll find the Monitor Control Room, which contains a safe and a useful crafting recipe – both will come in handy when facing the enemies ahead.
You’ll find the code inside Bioweapon Repository 05, a heavily guarded area with many enemies – some require a very stealthy approach. It’s best to eliminate the enemies beforehand so you can quickly return to the Monitor Control Room. But if you have to, you can sneak in and sneak back out.
The code for this safe is: (Left) 50, (Right) 60, and (Left) 80.
Inside the safe, you’ll find another Med Injector, an empty bottle, and a bottle of acid. Opening this safe will instantly unlock the “No Safe is Safe” Trophy and give you crucial emergency supplies that could change the outcome of the game.
