Every Character in Poppy Playtime Chapter 5: Broken Things
Just a heads-up: we’re only counting characters you actually see on screen in Chapter 5 – not those who are just talked about or heard. Here’s a list of all the confirmed characters you’ll encounter visually.
Huggy Wuggy
In Chapter 5, Huggy Wuggy comes back, but he’s broken down and even more disturbing than before. He’s not the main danger anymore, but his huge size and creepy smile still feel frightening. His return proves that nothing in the factory is ever truly gone for good.
The Wrongside Outimals
The Wrongside Outimals are a line of plush toys originally rejected by Playtime Co. In Chapter 5, these toys appear as plush animals that look like they’ve been turned inside out, with eyes on the wrong side and visible stitching and fur textures.
These creatures are most dangerous because of how they react to light. If you’re in the dark, they’ll attack immediately. They have strange fur that covers much of their bodies, and a red liquid seems to flow through their hands. The best way to stay safe is to stick to well-lit areas.
Giblet
Giblet is a key character in Chapter 5. He looks like a tiny chihuahua with unusual, pale skin, one eye shaped like a flower, and a leather patch covering where his other eye should be. He gets around with a cane because of an injured leg and always wears a coat. Even though he seems delicate, Giblet is important to the story and helps guide you along the way.
Chum Chompkins
Chum Chompkins is a large, red creature who works for The Prototype and tells Giblet information. He looks similar to Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy, but has shorter arms and legs, and his hands have a rough, Velcro-like feel. What’s most disturbing about him is his mouth, which is located on his stomach and can hold objects – and even people!
Lily Lovebraids
Lily Lovebraids is a new villain in Poppy Playtime Chapter 5. She’s a doll with tan skin, bright purple braided hair, and large, noticeable eyes.
I absolutely love Lily’s style! She’s wearing a really cute purple shirt with black suspenders, and it’s all decorated with stars. It’s so sweet and doll-like, which is kind of surprising considering she’s actually a villain – the contrast is really striking!
Poppy Playtime
Poppy returns, offering guidance through mysterious conversations. Despite her small size, she’s a key figure in the story. Her understanding of the factory’s history and connection to The Prototype make her vital to the events of Chapter 5.
The Prototype
The Prototype is the primary villain of Chapter 5. He appears as a massive, terrifying creature—a mix of machinery and organic parts—within the factory. His unsettling appearance includes a broken porcelain jester mask, a glowing mechanical eye, a spider-like body, and limbs taken from broken toys.
