As a huge Spider-Man fan, I was so excited to see some early artwork from the upcoming ‘Brand New Day’ project! It looks like a big rumor about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man might actually be true, and the artwork seems to confirm it. I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Holland’s upcoming fourth solo film promises a wide range of characters from both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the comics, delivering a team-up fans have eagerly anticipated.
Details are still secret, but Jon Bernthal will be back as the Punisher in a new movie – marking his first time playing the character on the big screen. He recently appeared in the Daredevil: Born Again series, where he battled a task force led by Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio). Mark Ruffalo will return as the Hulk, and Michael Mando will play Scorpion, a classic Spider-Man foe.
Many Marvel enthusiasts hoped to see a trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day during the Super Bowl, but while a trailer wasn’t shown, some artwork from the movie has surfaced online. The images suggest Peter Parker will undergo a significant transformation in the sequel.
Peter Parker will seemingly get organic webbing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Recent leaks for the upcoming ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ suggest Peter Parker may lose his web-shooters and instead gain the ability to produce webs naturally.

Recent artwork for the upcoming Spider-Man sequel suggests he’ll be able to create webs naturally, without needing special equipment. In the original comics, Spider-Man famously used his scientific skills to invent the fluid he shoots from his web-shooters.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man was clearly surprised in No Way Home to learn that Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man creates his own webs naturally from his wrists.
It appears the new Spider-Man suit is developing its own unique design. Unlike the first image released, it doesn’t feature the bulky, mechanical web-shooters around the wrists. A second piece of concept art confirms this, also showing the suit without those web-shooters.

Okay, so there’s been a lot of talk about how my powers are changing in this new ‘Brand New Day’ storyline. It seems like all the stress of being totally alone – you know, after everyone forgot me because of what happened in ‘No Way Home’ – is actually making my abilities evolve. It’s kinda weird, but that’s the gist of it.
Early concept art revealed the hero without his web-shooters, sparking debate among fans about whether Marvel should remove them altogether. One fan commented that it would be better for Spider-Man to create his own webbing through research, allowing the character to develop organically throughout the movie.
One fan questioned why Spider-Man needs web-shooters at all, asking why he can’t just naturally produce webs like a spider. Some viewers suggested the devices could be built into his suit, while others strongly supported keeping the gadgets as part of his character.
One commenter expressed disappointment, saying they liked the challenge Spider-Man faced in managing his web fluid. Another pointed out that his web-shooters demonstrate his intelligence, suggesting that without them, he’s just an ordinary kid who got lucky.
