Hideo Kojima, the creator of popular games like Metal Gear Solid, recently showed off his next project, Physint. During a livestream celebrating the 10th anniversary of his studio, Kojima Productions, the first official poster for the PlayStation-exclusive stealth-action game was revealed. Physint is intended to be a follow-up to the style and gameplay of the Metal Gear Solid series.
The new game’s poster only shows a shadowy figure of the main character, but it did reveal the tagline: “here comes the feeling.” Hideo Kojima has hinted that the game, called Physint, will take tactical espionage action to the next level and will have graphics so realistic they’ll blur the line between movies and video games.
The game will feature performances by actors Charlee Fraser (known for *Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga*), Don Lee (*Marvel’s Eternals*), and Minami Hamabe (*Godzilla: Minus One*). To demonstrate the game’s stunning graphics, Kojima presented a highly detailed, computer-generated facial model of Hamabe’s character.
Don’t anticipate Physint being released anytime soon, as it’s currently only in the early stages of development. Kojima Productions is mainly working on OD-featured in a chilling trailer during the livestream-and Hideo Kojima has mentioned it could still be five or six years away from release.
Besides developing games, Kojima is also growing the Death Stranding universe with other projects, including a new live-action film and an anime series.
