• The network provides institutions third party custodian options in places like the U.K., Australia, Singapore, the UAE and Japan.
  • Next on the list of jurisdictions to cover will be the European Union and Latin America, Fireblocks said.

As a researcher with extensive experience in the cryptocurrency industry, I am excited about Fireblocks’ announcement of their Global Custodian Partner Program and the addition of Zodia Custody, Komainu, CloudTech, Zerocap, and Rakkar as partners. These partnerships will provide crypto institutions using Fireblocks technology with local third-party crypto custodial options in various jurisdictions, including the U.K., Australia, Singapore, the UAE, and Japan.

Five institutions – Zodia Custody, Komainu, CloudTtech, Zerocap, and Rakkar – were announced as new members of Fireblocks’ Global Custodian Partner Program, according to a statement released by the firms on Thursday.

Through Fireblocks technology, global custodian programs offer crypto institutions based in various jurisdictions – including the U.K., Australia, Singapore, UAE, and Japan – secure local storage solutions for their digital assets.

As a crypto investor, I’m excited about Fireblocks’ recent announcement regarding their application for a New York Trust company. Once approved, this new service will be exclusively available to U.S. clients, providing us with an additional layer of security and trust for our digital assets.

Several organizations demand secure storage solutions for managing cryptocurrencies. Fireblocks’ partnership program simplifies digital asset custody and provides swift digital currency transactions and adaptable payment processes, according to a company press release.

As Fireblocks’ custodian program expands, our goal is to focus on regions such as the European Union and Latin America, according to Adam Levine, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development.

“Levine stated in an interview that there isn’t a set limit on the number of custodians per jurisdiction for our company. This mirrors our Fireblocks network and partnerships with crypto exchanges. While having two or three may suffice, we’ve observed the significance of having numerous robust crypto exchanges for our clientele. Following this insight, we plan to increase the number of custodians we work with.”
